Please note that the definitions, explanations and annotations given in the Glossary refer specifically to my own use of the respective terms on this website, except where explicitly stated otherwise. In some cases they will most likely differ from particular definitions that you're already familiar with.

Although I'd much prefer always to use widely accepted definitions for terms used on this site, it's been necessary for me to 'sharpen up' some definitions and indeed even more or less redefine certain terms or coin new ones, in order to cut through the various belief-based confusions and 'misinformation' that are implicit in the various popular definitions and 'understandings' of various of these terms.

Please also note that the Glossary list is bound to get revisions and additions on a fairly regular basis, so it's NOT a good idea to print it out and thus soon either have an out-of-date copy or have to keep wasting paper through periodically printing new copies of it. In other words, the sensible thing to do is to BOOKMARK it instead.
