This is for putting yourself on my mailing list, which is used ONLY for sending out my notionally quarterly Websites Newsletter (though as a rarity one may be sent out between-times to give prompt notice of something), or maybe apologize for some choice goof I'd just perpetrated.

I'm not always very prompt in sending the Newsletters, because sometimes I'm waiting to finish a particular task so that I can include some mention of its completion in the (overdue) next Newsletter — so I say 'quarterly' just to give a rough idea of frequency.

The collected email addresses and any names are NEVER revealed or made available to any third party — though a necessary theoretical exception would be in the case of the relevant address(es) (only) being made available to a Law enforcement agency in the event of a criminal inquiry, or serious misconduct such as hacking any of my sites (or attempting to), or 'stalking' me or making or indeed carrying out threats against me.

Please note also that as a security measure I shall discard any submission giving an absurd name or email address. Not only human trolls, but also malicious bots sometimes give themselves away by doing that. If I get more coming my way I may decide to embed a CAPTCHA here to ensure that only real humans get through to me — and even then absurd names in any submissions I do receive will result in deletion.
