Dark Force and Entity Troubles -
The Real Way to Clear Them



I present here a strategy and wide-ranging set of means for managing and mastering your situation with, and even clearing or removing, entities and dark force interferences.

While various types of spirit attachments' and parasitic 'lost' souls can apparently be removed, usually after a fair bit of prior clearance work, actual removal of 'astral entities' (the term here including what are known as astral beings, dark entities, archons, demons and demonic beings), which are actually illusions created in people's minds by the dark force, cannot be done in the way that most people believe to be possible, but at least the methods given here enable you to progressively weaken their interferences upon you and gradually 'fade them out' of your life experience.

The strategy outlined here, if used with thought and awareness, can potentially resolve ANY personal issue relating to troublesome psychic and 'illusional' and 'delusional' phenomena, because the underlying problem comes down to the same thing - interference from the dark force.

Introduction

This account started off as part of my page Night Hells (Night Terrors) and Hearing Voices, but as that section expanded it seemed more appropriate to present it separately so that it could be more easily linked to and found in Web searches - especially as it is not specific to people with night hell or hearing voices issues, and indeed most of it is applicable to spirit attachments, some of which appear most likely to be genuine entities, as well as what people take to be 'astral entities' (also known as 'astral beings', and actually including what many would regard as demons and related entities), which are actually not real entities at all.

As I explain in the former article, what are widely known as astral entities, and indeed pretty well all non-physical entities or beings that one perceives or interacts with, are not true entities at all, but are illusory manifestations that the dark force parasitically causes the affected person's mind to create. So, one greatly helpful thing for us to do right now is to stop talking of astral entities, astral beings etc, and instead to talk instead of dark force interferences or dark force sourced manifestations / illusions.

One important immediate consequence of this understanding is that we can now see why you cannot actually ever 'bodily' remove 'astral entities' - for, being illusory, they are actually not there in the first place to be removed! All you can do, therefore, is to progressively weaken (towards non-existence) the dark force interferences that you are getting, which are creating those illusions - and that is truly possible, but it does take time!

Most of what appears below is based on my own experience with the dark force (which I had been interpreting as 'astral beings' or 'astral entities') plus my observations of its affecting others, and some information from other affected people. If you have information on genuinely removing or managing entities and dark force interferences that isn't already covered here, please feel free to let me know about it, and, if I consider it appropriate I will add it to this page.

I expect to add to the information below once in a while, so if you are interested it is well worth periodically revisiting this page.


Some prerequisites for fully addressing your 'entities' / dark force interference problem

The following is not an exhaustive list; I may add some further items to this list.
  • You need to be clear that you really do want to be free from 'entities' / dark force interferences. Many people believe that they want to be free from their 'entities' and dark force interferences (and on the surface may be desperate to get rid of them), but actually are unwilling to embrace such radical positive change in their lives. Such people are unlikely to get much clearance of their problems.

    However, although this is generally true, if you are using self actualization methodology like what I present in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way, it is much less critical about having a specific intent to be free from entities or dark force interferences (assuming that you are at least being serious about your ongoing use of the methods for overall life improvement), and indeed such methodology would progressively clear any entities and dark force interferences whether or not you acknowledged even their existence. However, a specific, deeply felt intent to be free of them would greatly assist and thus speed up the process.

  • Discontinue use of or keep consistently clear of all mind-affecting drugs, including alcohol and tobacco products (yes, NO SMOKING!) and the various so-called recreational drugs, including cannabis and psychedelic drugs. That is extremely important, for they all muck up your non-physical aspects as well as your body, and make you much more vulnerable to the dark force and much more inclined to pick up or retain entity attachments such as soul fragments - hence the dark force seeking to get people into use of these drugs and indeed other substance misuse such as glue sniffing. Although probably not essential, it would be a good move even to get fully clear of caffeine (including tea, coffee and Coke - and related drinks) - and all cocoa / chocolate products and any regular or significant eating of confectionery, for every emotional dependency or attachment of yours to some extent supports the hold of the dark force on you, and none of those substances does other than some degree of harm to you.

    This may sound at first like an unacceptable way to live, but the point is that the dark force gets people craving for and 'enjoying' things that that harm them. When you get working consistently for your self actualization (which is the only way to get clear of the interferences), you come increasingly to get most enjoyment from doing things that are beneficial for you, and progressively cease to enjoy doing what is harmful or 'weakening' for you.

    So, instead of compulsively banging your head on a wall because you get some sort of perverse 'enjoyment' from it, you get the greater enjoyment of, for example, going out for a healthy invigorating hike on a strenuous coast path or a mountain... - And there are lots of very pleasant blends of herbal 'tea' that contain no caffeine, and can be really enjoyed once you've lost your craving for caffeine bearing drinks and beverages, so we're talking about actually living a freer and more abundant life once we're no longer being driven any more by our old addictions and emotional attachments.

  • If you have a significantly codependent or abusive relationship, it would be greatly helpful for you to resolve the issue (with emotional clearance methods - see below) if feasible to be achieved quickly, or simply get out of the relationship. Holding onto such relationships, with all their emotional attachment and power / control issues, makes it very difficult to get rid of dark force interferences. Actually ALL attached relationships, however 'normal' and socially acceptable (and indeed very much including married relationships), are a problem in this respect, and letting go of them (or rather, letting go of one's attachment to the other person) is an essential part of any genuine comprehensive self actualization process - but any obviously troublesome or abusive relationship is particularly high priority to get right out of, as soon as possible.

  • Discontinue or keep clear of all 'dark' practices or preoccupations, even if it means letting go of particular friends, partner, etc. As you align more fully with the positivity of your own core essence you would gain new friends anyway, who would be more supportive of your new, more positive direction. You can to very great advantage carefully and vigilantly use energy testing to vet both extant and potential friends or companions.

  • Keep as clear as possible from covert dark force influences - such as connections or preoccupations with so-called ascended masters, guides, angels, archangels, gods and goddesses, and even 'Jesus', the Holy Spirit and 'God' / Jehovah / Allah / Shiva - indeed any non-physical beings, entities or presences of any sort, never mind how 'Divine' they may be claimed or believed to be. Their given identities are, as far as I can tell, always inventions of the dark force, and so even believing in them or associating with them in any way increases the dark force's hold on you. If you want to invoke a fully pure and positive energy, e.g. for hands-on healing* (of yourself or others), simply visualize the energies from your own core point (a notional point source deep in your 'middle') expanding outward in all directions, and trust (not ask) those energies to carry out whatever healing or energy clearance is appropriate at that time. Basically, let go of any notions of an external non-physical reality and focus deep within yourself instead for the ultimate source of deeper knowledge, clarity of mind, and healing.

  • Do not attempt to channel or dowse (i.e. gaining guidance or information from apparently external non-physical sources) - however tempting it may seem. That is one of the prime means by which the dark force increases its hold on people. If you do channel or dowse, the information you receive is bound to contain distortions introduced by the dark force, which latter would be the true nature of any apparently 'higher' source, and the moment you accept any such communications, what you are doing is tacitly accepting the dark force's interference, and thus you are pointing yourself away from a full commitment to be free of it.

  • Avoid 'readings' from mediums and channels, and keep clear of any channelled or supposedly clairvoyantly obtained information or messages that you may encounter anywhere. Any reliance on channelled information - no matter what its purported source (and, yes, that does include such figures as 'Jesus', 'Archangel Michael' and indeed 'God') - increases the hold of the dark force on you, quite apart from such information almost certainly containing distortions of the truth, which would have been chosen to cause you problems in some way or other. It's important also to keep clear of astrology, numerology and any form of divining (such as with Tarot, I Ching, runes or so-called angel cards), which are all, covertly or openly, used in various ways by the dark force to manipulate people.

  • Avoid use of symbols - including Reiki ones and even the most hallowed ones such as the OM, pentagram, six-pointed star (Star of David) - or so-called sacred geometry (including the much hallowed merkaba - two interlocking pyramids). These are potent in increasing one's dark force connections. Sacred geometry is especially harmful and can be used even by supposed 'lightworkers' to bring great harm to a person - even to the point of covert murder (i.e. by various types of psychic attack).

  • Do not wear or carry any supposedly protective amulets or pendants. NONE of those are genuine protectors against the dark force or entities, and indeed they are ALL tools of the dark force, which are weakening and disruptive to your energy system so that you become progressively more vulnerable to the very things you're actually wanting protection from. In any case, any of these that carry, or are fashioned into, symbols or sacred geometry configurations are particularly harmful (see above). A pentagram pendant, for example, is - far from being a genuine protection aid - a token of your captivity to the dark force, never mind how any particular tradition would view or describe it.

    Crystals are all harmful, though some more so than others, and NONE genuinely has in the slightest degree the protective qualities that are widely claimed for certain types, so put away or (much better) discard any that you have. Moldavite, although technically not a crystal, is extremely harmful in being a particularly powerful ungrounding agent, and thus potently opens you to the astral sub-reality and thus the dark force, and has no genuine protective effects, so it too is for discarding and certainly not carrying on your person.

    Furthermore, let go of the whole 'protection' mindset, for it is inherently harmful through its keeping you weak and disempowered. In place of 'being protected' by something, think in terms of cultivating and opening up your own intrinsic invulnerability or immunity to all harmful forces and influences.

  • If you have any crystals and supposedly energy-active stones such as moldavite, it is not enough not to actively use them. You need to get them out of your living space as soon as possible, because they continue to progressively weaken you as long as they are in any part of your energy system, which typically would extend for more than two metres radius around your body. Crystals left lying on window ledges in my flat were part of the means of my own near-nemesis at the 'hands' of the dark force, so I know what I'm talking about here. If you can't get rid of them at once, gather them up into an opaque box or bag and stow them in a cupboard or other out-of-the-way place as far removed as possible from where you spend most of your time in your living space, but keep a clear intent to get rid of them as soon as possible (and not to pass them on to other people and cause problems for them instead of you!).

  • Keep a clear and consistent resolve to align only with the positivity and clarity of your own core essence - being clear that this is effectively 'the Ultimate'. Any apparent higher being or 'Spirit' can't be anything other than lesser that 'the Ultimate', which is what your own core essence and deepest nature is, and so you need to ignore it.

  • Take up appropriate fast-track methods for clearance of emotional issues and accumulated effects of all manner of environmental stresses (more about such methods further below) and strengthening all your non-physical aspects, and use these methods on yourself regularly in an ongoing manner to progressively weaken and clear all your emotional issues and accumulated effects of environmental stress, and thus 'squeeze out' any attached entities and dark force interferences.
  • Keep a very open mind about the true nature of any 'entity' manifestations, and let go of belief in any 'external' reality involving them. Although for healing purposes they may be treated as an external influence, it's best as soon as possible to cultivate the dissolution of the whole 'entities' mindset through:

    • Letting go of the whole notion that the 'entities' are true entities at all, and regarding them instead just as thought form complexes, 'rogue programming in thought energy' or illusions presented to you by the dark force - and thus not interacting with them at all, any more than you'd intentionally do with a computer virus that is seeking to engage you in some sort of dialogue.
    • progressively opening to your own core essence (your deepest nature, which is 'the Ultimate') and allowing it to appear to expand from your core through your whole being and indeed to apparently fill all of Existence.
  • Let go of any 'story' that your situation or interference has created for you, including any interpretation of your experiences, never mind how vivid, real-seeming and bizarre. The 'story' and exact details of your experiences are actually NOT important from a genuine healing perspective (at least the healing methodology that I present), and are generally presented by the dark force to confuse a person and keep him / her locked into a sort of 'loop' of recreating the troublesome phenomena through believing that they are 'real' (i.e. as presented) rather than as completely 'empty' illusions that are being given to him / her and would dissolve if allowed to do so.

    Important note! The actual material and building blocks of all types of non-physical interferences, whether from the dark force or even psychic attacks from people, are fundamentally the same, and, using my methodology, are all cleared by the same means, without any need to identify particular troublesome phenomena as being one thing or another. The name of the game is not chasing after the (illusory) paper tigers with which the dark force is constantly besetting you, but simply strengthening and un-distorting all those aspects of your whole being that are currently distorted and weak, thus progressively rendering you immune to all those interferences and attacks, whatever their apparent nature or source. That makes life so much simpler!


Means to remove entities and dark force interferences

There is a huge variety of methods that people use to try to address this issue, but actually virtually none of those methods works well, if at all. True, quite often particular obvious problems caused by 'entities' (really almost always dark force interferences) may reduce or cease after a healing or exorcism to remove the supposed 'entities', but because the normal main problem is dark force interferences, they cannot be 'sent off' in that way. So, when 'astral entities' or 'demons' do seem to have been sent off, it's virtually certain that nothing of the kind has really happened and for its own purposes the dark force is deceiving both healer and the recipient of the healing, making them think the 'entities' have been cleared off when actually the dark force has just become more covert in its interferences. I've had all these tricks played on me, so I speak from experience - and I've seen massive signs of continuing but more covert dark force interference in virtually everyone who's claimed to me to have had their own troublesome 'entities' removed, and now to be free from entities.

Indeed, I have come to the understanding that although genuine 'spirit attachments'* (which are discarnate human consciousnesses in various types of predicament), partial walk-ins and parasitic 'lost' souls can be sent off (although, generally speaking, they require quite a bit of self actualization / emotional clearance work before they can be dislodged), dark force interferences are a different matter and cannot be sent off at all in the way that almost all healers and 'lightworkers' believe they can. For 'astral entities' (i.e. dark force interferences), it appears that the name of our game is to use various self actualization methods to build up and strengthen all our non-physical aspects to such an extent that we simply progressively fade those interferences out of our life experience, so that we eventually become invulnerable to the dark force (as far as one can tell; vigilance would always be required) while never knowing for sure whether or not there is still any covert and subtle interference or any as-yet undiscovered vulnerability that might be exploited at some point.

* Please note that, as far as I can tell, what people generally recognise as 'spirit attachments' are not genuine consciousnesses at all but are elementals or, occasionally 'combo entities', which are a combination of an elemental and a human soul fragment. I write more about the most troublesome of these much further below.

Please note that, because 'astral entities' are not only not physical but are actually illusory, they cannot be seen by anyone in any truly objective or 'physical' way. A small minority of healers and psychics believe that they can 'see' these manifestations using their supposed 'higher perceptions', but it is only visual illusions that they are being given by the dark force. Thus they are seeing only what the dark force shows them - NOT what is actually there (if anything!). This is thus an area replete with deception and misunderstandings.

Caution
Generally speaking, it is highly problematical for one person to attempt to remove 'entities' (whether real entities or dark force interferences) from another person, because of the almost certain dark force involvements in working in that way.

I had listed below a variety of means for 'entity' removal, some I now understand to be useless or worse, and some genuinely useful. Now that I have new and much more focused pages on healing from one's core essence, and true self actualization, that is where I now have cause to direct you for the reliable and safe means to clear out both entities and dark force interferences - so the listing below is now cut right down to two items, so simplifying things no end!

As already noted, for these genuine healing / clearance methods, the details of a person's particular tribulations and bizarre experiences are not relevant - which simplifies things enormously. Indeed, the more a person concerns himself with such details and any 'story' involved in his troubles, the more is he obstructing any genuine clearance process. You have been warned!

Thus the two (actually very much interrelated) main prongs of a strategy to clear your entities / dark force interferences are as follows.

  • self actualization (including clearance of one's emotional issues, stresses and traumas) is the only basic process that really works for 'astral entities' (i.e. dark force interferences) and is truly safe for clearing other types of entity or interference from oneself. Even then, however, most available supposed self actualization /self realization methods have limits on their usefulness because of dark force sourced distortions that limit those methods' effectiveness for the purpose.

    However, on this site I present methods, almost all of which I have been using myself, which, if used with care and awareness, appear to both clear your emotional issues (which are one of a person's primary vulnerabilities to the dark force) and build up the strength of your non-physical aspects so as to progressively 'squeeze out' any entities and dark force interferences. Included is a method for actually sending off any spirit attachments (earthbound spirits or discarnate human consciousnesses) and parasitic 'lost' souls once the other practices have sufficiently weakened their hold on you, and to help speed the process of 'fading out' interferences from the dark force.

  • Eliminating environmental stresses. We are ALL subject to environmental stresses (ESs), whether we are aware of them or not, and they cause a progressive accumulation of distortions and weaknesses in our non-physical aspects, which in the long term (and in some cases pretty well immediately) impinge seriously upon our health. Particular environmental stresses make many people much more vulnerable to the dark force or indeed spirit attachments. Therefore, even if no other self actualization and entity removal measures were taken, elimination of the offending environmental stress(es) usually results in a distinct reduction in the strength of the most noticeable interferences, and in some cases apparent elimination of them altogether (though that wouldn't be actual total elimination at that stage - which would require more comprehensive and long-term work).

    To give an idea of the sorts of things that may have such an effect, let's mention my own situation. When I did the appropriate energy testing in late 2007 (shutting the door after the main horse had bolted, though), I found that a particular type of lampshade that I had for the two room lights in my living room and for the one room light in my bedroom were particular offenders - all the more so as quite some time before I'd scratched onto their plastic the so-called Am Re symbol which had been channelled to me by the dark force posing as a higher source. This was adding a small dark force connecting element to the environmental stress effects from those lampshades.

    Then, once I'd removed those lampshades I did further energy testing, which led me to my kitchen, where I found that I was getting particular environmental stresses that were aggravating my dark force interferences, from three main sources: the fridge-freezer, the central heating boiler, and the microwave oven. The former two were inherently stressful for me by their very presence, whereas the microwave was not significantly stressful for me in itself, but was having a stressful effect because it was in an unharmonious position. Unfortunately there was no practical alternative to its particular placing.

    I was able to virtually neutralize or even eliminate all those stresses as follows. For the fridge-freezer and boiler I simply took my Energy Egg (already energetically connected to the space-clearing device called the Guardian Angel), and, while looking at the respective items and holding the Energy Egg with all my fingertips, I did three 'weaving blows' on the Egg to tune it to the particular stress and thus enable my own energy system to adapt to the particular energy so that it was no longer stressful for me. I also did the same for the microwave, but the beneficial effect was only partial, because, it appears, 'wrong location' stress cannot be fully eliminated by the Energy Egg and Guardian Angel.

    Next, I used energy testing to find out how I might eliminate the remains of the 'wrong location' stress from the microwave. I found that putting a particular smallish potted house plant on top of the microwave virtually eliminated the part of the stress that had been aggravating the dark force attacks issue, but left largely intact some other parts of the stress, which would have been impacting adversely upon me in other ways. Further energy testing and experimentation led to my placing a particular sphere of verdite (on its little wooden stand, for stability) on the microwave instead of the plant, and this apparently virtually eliminated all the stress that I'd been receiving from the microwave's positioning, which was not already being eliminated by the combination of Energy Egg and Guardian Angel. Furthermore, I found that at least one major stressful item in my living room (the music peripherals next to my computer - 'wrong location' stress again) was considerably less stressful (though still with some significant elements of stress) once that verdite sphere was on the microwave.

    However, prior to my locating and dealing with those particular environmental stress issues, in 2007 I'd established that the collection of crystals strewn on my window ledges, and, first and foremost, my regular use of a collection of sacred geometry 'healing' wands from late 2003 to early 2007 had been a very major factor in opening me to the dark force for the severe troubles that I had then. So I took the immediate step of discarding all those, and my use of (initially) the Energy Egg and Guardian Angel, plus other methods, progressively got to work healing all the damage done to my non-physical aspects by the wands and crystals.


Some of the purported entity removal options to AVOID
  • Shamanic healings (the dark force ALWAYS involved)
  •  Exorcisms (the dark force ALWAYS involved)
  • 'No!' sign Taking on a belief (e.g. in Jesus or God) (the dark force ALWAYS involved)
  • Baptisms and other initiations (the dark force ALWAYS involved)
  • Joining or involvement with any sort of religion or spiritual / esoteric / mystical organization (the dark force ALWAYS involved).
  • 'No!' sign Invoking supposed higher beings such as Archangel Michael or Jesus (the dark force ALWAYS involved)
  • Specialist healers and 'lightworkers' (the dark force ALWAYS involved, with one qualification) - Various such healers genuinely believe that they are clear of 'astral' or dark force interference and influence, but in my experience so far they are ALL mistaken about that. A healer who is truly clear of dark force involvement would not be offering to directly remove entities from people (except just possibly in a few cases for the relatively uncommon matter of earthbound spirit attachments) and would point you to your own self actualization as the real solution. Even in the case of earthbound spirit attachments, the primary solution, which ensures that you don't go picking up any more of those, is still your own self actualization.
  • Methods involving hypnosis (the dark force ALWAYS involved) - All hypnosis is seriously disempowering, and is also seriously ungrounding to the person's awareness and thus it increases his vulnerability to the dark force and tends to impair his motivation for true self actualization, and always creates highly problematical hidden illusory realities in the person's mind. Danger! There is very often a dark force sourced control agenda operating in people who choose to use hypnosis as one of their methods, and many of them actually tend to pass on new troublesome 'entities' or related problems to their clients.
  • Use of mantras, symbols or sacred geometry (the dark force ALWAYS involved, and the latter in particular is extremely harmful)
  • Use of crystals or healing devices other than those that I unequivocally recommend (ineffective and also harmful to the person's non-physical aspects, so making the person MORE vulnerable to the dark force)
  • Formal meditation sessions (the dark force ALWAYS involved when meditation is used supposedly for this purpose) - Also, meditation is ungrounding, which is just what you don't need if you want to get clear of entities / dark force interferences. Actually, generally speaking, for some people the odd formal meditation sessions can be beneficial, provided that they are not made a regular or prominent feature in the person's everyday life - but for people with overt entity / dark force interferences it is wellnigh essential to keep clear of formal meditation altogether, because of its ungrounding nature. Self-Power Walking (mentioned further below) is a healthy replacement for that.
  • 'No!' sign Rituals of any kind (the dark force ALWAYS involved) - though these need to be distinguished from various yogic or energy-active practices for self healing, some of which* are very helpful indeed towards clearing of entities and dark force interferences (while others such as Sahaja Yoga are decidedly harmful despite their usual superficial appearance of benignity).
    * For example, practices pointed to in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

Removing 'self made demons'

I briefly explain about 'self created entities', which could also be described as 'self made demons', in The True Nature of 'The Dark Force' and its Interference and Attacks. Basically they are something of a myth, though the results of my own inner inquiry are suggestive that when you have genuinely cleared off real entities you are still left with their energy imprints, which the dark force would maintain and manipulate in ways that can make it seem as though the entities are still present - though I suspect that the most common cause of continuation of 'entity' related effects after supposed clearance of 'entities' would be simply that the supposed entities had never been cleared off in the first place.

Some healers / 'lightworkers' who carry out supposed entity removal sessions are very predisposed to raise the 'self created entities' bogey to 'explain' why particular clients of theirs still have supposed 'entity' troubles after what were supposed to be entity removal sessions. Typically the practitioner thus justifies his chalking up the particular client as one of his successes, even though actually the practitioner hadn't succeeded in removing anything! I have personal experience of this happening.

Also, elementals that your own system has created under hijack-control from the dark force could get identified as 'self created entities'. You would have to be very weakly grounded for that sort of thing to happen, though.

The self actualization / self realization methods that I present on this site all assist in the steady dissolution of such energy imprints and elementals. As with removal of 'real' entities, and probably even more so, the process would be greatly assisted by daily or at least very frequent use of the set of affirmations that you can find in The Guide to Complete Self Actualization, and particularly by the use of the Grounding Post procedure for assisting the dissolution of thought forms (which are, broadly speaking, the true nature of the energy imprints, and indeed of any elementals).


...And then, Soul Retrieval?

It is widely believed among healers in many traditions that a soul retrieval healing is generally necessary after removing entities - especially earthbound spirit attachments. That would also give the opportunity for the retrieval of soul fragments that were already able to be retrieved before the entity removal rendered the retrieval of further fragments possible.

The rationale of this is that, so it is widely believed, soul retrieval is necessary because a spirit attachment (or certain other types of entity) occupies a space in your energy system where a part of your non-physical aspect has been displaced and separated off. When the spirit attachment is released and sent away to its proper place, a void is left in your non-physical aspect, which would readily attract in another problematical entity. It is therefore important that any separated-off part of yourself is drawn back in and re-integrated into your system. That would not only prevent another entity from attaching to you but would also bring about an increase in your well-being. After a successful soul retrieval you would most likely feel much happier and more 'present' and more centred and grounded than before.

Soul retrieval, then, is clearly a Good Thing. So, you need to have, or carry out on yourself, soul retrieval healings as part of your entity clearance process, right?

Well, actually no - unless, maybe, you've had one of the 'best-to-avoid' types of entity removal healing that I've listed further above. The only reason for needing assistance in soul retrieval (which is actually a natural process) is that the dark force would obstruct the process if you were not well grounded at the time of the entity removal (or even a major emotional clearance), so that if it's going to occur at all at that time it has to be forced. In any case I'm doubtful at to how often such soul retrieval healings really achieve what they're claimed to do.

If you use properly grounding methods for self actualization and entity clearance, as I've pointed to above, the dark force cannot interfere in that particular process, at least to any great extent, and so the latter occurs spontaneously, speedily and smoothly.

The one bit of assistance for the process that you can usefully give is simply your having a clear intent that it would occur for you. This is facilitated by the relevant entry in the set of affirmations, which you can find in The Guide to Complete Self Actualization. That's it!


Management options - Management for MASTERY, not just Coping!

Please note that I emphasize 'management' and 'mastery' and not the popular expression 'coping strategies'. In the mental health services we often hear about 'coping strategies' for 'hearing voices' or other mental health issues, but that's not about true healing and is really just a policy of 'managed defeat'. When I talk of 'management' of the entities and dark force interferences I mean an active and positive healing and empowerment approach aimed to minimize their negative impact and eventually get rid of the pestilences altogether, and which also makes you immensely stronger, more aware and clear-minded, and more able to enjoy life without having to wait for your nuisances to actually have gone (yet).

For example, mental healthcare workers involved with their 'patient' Tim Bawlscroper may consider that they have achieved real healing and something of a cure for him because they've got him more or less no longer seeing demons and angels, by means of a combination of what they've found to be the 'best' medication for him and getting him to go out to visit a friend most evenings to watch television, and to take up stamp collecting, instead of moping on his own at home. But in real terms what they have done for him is in important respects worse than useless, because they've just sought to get him more comfortable within his continuing very serious predicament, so that any motivation of his for true self actualization (and getting really clear of his serious dark force interference plus entities issue) is still further occluded. That is what 'coping strategies' are largely about, and true healing and self actualization is one thing they are never about.


Management of the interferences and 'entities'
(i.e. MASTERY of your situation!)

  • Non-interaction. Non-interaction with any 'voices' or apparent 'entities'* is crucial. For the person to interact with them is to give the dark force power over him. Some people find that if the apparent entities are repeatedly told to go away they appear to do so, but, to my understanding, that is not at all what really happens when people get the impression that it has happened. All that really happens in such cases is that the dark force has simply changed tactics to keep a low profile and make the person think its 'entity' manifestations have gone, when in fact it's still there (because it actually cannot go away because it has no specific physical location to start with) and covertly still interfering to control the person.

    * As already intimated, really these are just illusions created in one's mindspace under hijack-control by the dark force. Genuine entities - lost souls - don't communicate in any obvious way, except that the dark force could conceivably give an illusion of one or more of them communicating. However, generally the dark force seeks to conceal the presence of any genuine entities, so you can take it as a pretty good rule of thumb that "If it's communicating with me, or if I can apparently see or otherwise 'sense' it, it is not a genuine entity (i.e. awarely conscious non-physical being)".

    Indeed, keeping on telling the supposed entities to go away is stressful if in fact those manifestations don't go away or they keep returning, and this stress then provides the dark force with emotional energy 'hooks' that it can grab in order to launch attacks. Also, the mere fact of regarding any 'entities' as actual beings to whom any communication would be meaningful is potently maintaining the situation, for they are, by their very nature as illusory manifestations, produced by rogue thought forms (like computer malware but made up of thought energy), and would eventually cease to manifest as entities at all if consistently seen in that light and disregarded and not interacted with over a longish period. Total ignoring is therefore the strategy to adopt, to whatever extent one can manage to do this*.

    * It's important here to clarify that I do NOT mean going into denial. It's actually best to keep as aware as possible of the dark force interferences, but not actually dwelling upon them or getting emotionally involved or wound up about them, and if possible not to allow yourself to 'see' or interact with them. That way you can maintain and increase your awareness of any ways the dark force is trying to control or otherwise interfere with you, and then to disregard or sidestep those attempts. (I don't talk about resisting them, because 'resistance' implies a certain degree of engagement with the manifestations, which is why a light-hearted but grounded side-stepping and simply doing something different is the real effective approach.)
  • Do not attempt to dowse nor channel nor listen for inner guidance (AT ALL!).* As long as you do, you are allowing the dark force to manipulate you, and you are actually keeping it in some degree in control of you. The point here is that, as explained in Better Without Channelling, it is the dark force that relays to us any potentially useful information from our deepest aspects, and it is also the dark force that presents itself (with such information from your deepest aspects) as supposedly higher beings such as guides, ascended masters, angels and archangels. ANY channelling or seeking inner 'guidance' (apart from carefully and vigilantly executed energy testing) therefore puts you into or keeps you in the power of the dark force.

    * Actually, as one might say, "There is guidance and guidance"! The rare people who are getting really clear of their interferences and any soul programming would be getting a genuine and beneficial sort of 'inner guidance' - various indications arising from their own deepest aspects. These, however, have a very subtle character and generally have an informative rather than directive quality, and so even for people who can 'hear' them, they tend to get drowned out for much of the time by the dark force's 'louder' distorted and more directive versions of what you supposedly need to know.

    For the vast majority of affected people, the only inner guidance that is reasonably safe to heed at all is their own deepest intuition and good sense, which can be supported by means of energy testing. I learnt the hard way that trying to get channelled information or 'guidance' from any seemingly external source just helps perpetuate the situation with the dark force and 'entities'.

    If, like me, you have already been dowsing and channelling, there's no cause for despair; indeed you can take encouragement from the fact that I came out of my own dark force 'troubles' despite the major problems I'd opened up for myself by doing that. All that's necessary is to shut down with determination on all opening up to receive non-physical communications. If you slip up and let something through, just distance yourself from it and resume your embargo. I found that, to make the transition to not channelling at all, for a little while a mental 'image' of a sort of 'energy cotton wool' filling all my inner communication channels (whether from supposedly high or low sources) considerably helped. However, if you are using self actualization methods as effective as the methodologies given in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way, your awareness would rapidly be getting more grounded and it would soon come naturally to ignore all apparently external entities or 'sources'.

    However, as already noted (yes, I'm unashamedly repeating myself here!), there is a way that you can still, with great care and vigilance, get certain types of information from your deepest aspects, which can take you forward powerfully in your self actualization process, and that is energy testing - though there are associated pitfalls and you therefore need to use it with care, rigour and vigilance.


  • If you feel you must 'say' anything at all to what appear to be 'entities' (there is actually no true need to do so), 'speak' as far as possible only in the third person, i.e. so that you are communicating not to them but to yourself about them. That is because to 'speak' directly to the 'entities' gives the dark force more power over you than if you communicate only to yourself and simply observe the responses of the illusory 'entities'.

    However, as I must have made abundantly clear by now, the real need is to cease even regarding any supposed entities as actual beings at all, with which one could meaningfully interact. As already noted, what are generally regarded as 'astral entities' are almost certainly not true consciously aware beings at all and indeed are most likely not even discrete entities - even though they strenuously try to convince everyone that they are real beings. Would you bother to have a personal dialogue with some virus or other malware program on your computer that pretends that it's a real person and is flashing up messages to try to get you engaging with it (maybe to steal your bank account and credit card details)? Surely, best to see it as it really is and not to interact with it at all as though it were some sort of awarely conscious being, for then you're in a much better position to clear it out.

    An important point here too is that the more you keep any communications directed to yourself rather than anything apparently external, the more you are beginning to build up a direct communication pathway with your own deepest aspects, which in time would be weakening the interferences and making it increasingly possible to get direct communications from within (whether or not they be verbal ones). However, there's no point in actually asking questions of your deepest aspects at this stage of the proceedings, for the dark force would at once intrude and present its own versions of any such answers to you, and you'd still be in the realm of channelling, and thus still in considerable trouble.

  • 'Guidance' and instructions are to be disregarded without question at all times! wink If the 'entities' give instructions or recommendations, or instructions just arise in one's mind, then it is important for the affected person to understand that such instructions - even quite benign-seeming ones that appear to be good guidance - are for ignoring or disobeying despite any threats or coercive attacks that may be made. The dark force thrives on every hint of power that it has over a person, even when seemingly only symbolic, and every non-compliance with its 'wishes' or instructions adds to its disempowerment. Such non-compliance needs to be done with a positive, light-hearted, good humoured or even joyful outlook, for the dark force is generally empowered and you are disempowered by your being attached to seriousness and indeed grimness. Another thing that empowers the dark force and disempowers you is any defensiveness of yours, for that is living in fear, and that is just one of the many highly adverse things that the dark force seeks to have you doing. Learn to disregard such interferences with a twinkle in the eye, a smile or indeed a laugh.

  • Train yourself to regard the 'entities' as just illusions created by bits of rogue thought form programming and not real conscious beings at all. We have no means of absolutely, categorically, knowing what is the true nature of 'astral entities', and it is important that we don't hold an actual belief that they are one thing or another, but I myself have consistently found it extremely beneficial to live with a working assumption (rather than a 'this is Truth' type of belief) that 'astral entities' of any kind (and indeed all apparently awarely conscious non-physical being or presences) are nothing more than illusions created by rogue programming, as noted further above. I explain about this in The True Nature of 'The Dark Force' and its Interference and Attacks.

    My own experience in using this approach is that rapidly the 'entity' manifestations became easier to ignore and not to engage with, and indeed their intrusions became noticeably weaker and less consequential, and I felt altogether less threatened and constrained by them and their activities. I think the point here is that the whole programming of the dark force relies for its effectiveness upon its being seen as anything other than what it really is (or, more specifically, being seen as the illusory manifestations that it presents to us), so when its cover is properly 'blown', it simply cannot function properly, and theoretically could actually start dissolving.

    Although on the face of it this applies only to 'astral entities' (i.e. dark force interferences) and not the various extremely troublesome types of 'spirit attachment' (including partial walk-ins), a helpful working assumption to keep in mind in the latter cases is that the 'lost' human consciousness involved is in itself benign but is being driven to its negative and harmful behaviour by - yes, you've guessed! - the dark force again. In other words, it is empowering for the affected person to cultivate a perception that the harmful forces affecting them are NOT coming from any actual malevolent awarely conscious beings (which I suspect actually do not exist), but are from completely unaware rogue programming that you can progressively dissolve or at least disempower.

  • If you have what you or others think is a spirit attachment that is communicating with you and interfering with you in brazen and apparently deliberate ways, that is almost certainly NOT a true spirit attachment, nor a real awarely conscious entity at all, but an elemental that is being manipulated by the dark force via seriously ungrounded aspects of your 'energy system'. That, therefore, needs to be regarded and treated in much the same way as 'ordinary' 'astral entities' - that is, regarded as just rogue programming. Although it isn't illusory in the way that 'astral entities' are, no harm and very likely some benefit would come from your actually regarding it as illusory, provided that you don't use that to go into denial of the problem. The point is, the less you regard it or interact with it in any way that implies that it's a conscious being, the more you are weakening it and of course strengthening yourself against it.
  • Use the Grounding Post procedure to dissolve particular thought forms, including elementals. This follows from the last two items. I have established that the dark force cultivates thought forms in many people's minds to create particular illusory realities there, which cause the people to automatically interpret the dark force interferences as being from real conscious beings, because doing so gives those thought forms a lot of power then to behave as though they are actual beings, and it makes them seem much more intrusive and intimidating. If you dissolve those thought forms and illusory realities, it would be much easier not to perceive the dark force interferences as being other than just transient illusions created by bits of rogue programming in the astral sub-reality of illusion and delusion - so greatly disempowering the supposed entities.

    I give here two particular items that are really top priority to 'zap' by means of the Grounding Post procedure:

    • "All apparent or illusory realities in which I have 'masters' or entities of any type who have ultimate control or command over me, and in which I cannot escape that control / interference no matter what I do."
    • "All apparent or illusory realities in which there is any sort of 'higher' or 'ultimate' presence or power that is in any way external to myself."
      N.B. As with all Grounding Post 'zappings', you can use such wordings initially to clarify your intent, but for best results you need to then let go of the specific words and carry out the procedure with a sort of 'visualization by intent' rather than very much using the words.
  • Let go of all addictions and mind affecting substances. Any attached entities, and especially dark force interferences and many earthbound spirit attachments, encourage people's addictive tendencies and behaviours, including sexual ones, in order to get the people more ungrounded and have less command of themselves and thus being more in the dark force's power. Therefore through letting go of such addictions you help reduce the dark force's control and power over you, and also reduce the strength of attachment of any genuine entities. Smoking (of anything) and ALL use of alcohol (even only occasional modest drinks) is definitely included here. Although the following isn't top priority, even cutting out caffeine (tea, coffee, Coke and other caffeine- or stimulant-containing beverages) would help, as even that very socially accepted and supposedly benign addiction (okay, call it a habit if you like!) helps a bit to empower the dark force and disempower you against it.

    Please refer to Letting Go of Addictions and Compulsive Behaviours, where I write more on this issue and point in the appropriate directions for means to do that letting go.

  • The 'Energy Egg' - a personal environmental stress eliminator, which strengthens you against negative effects from any 'entities'.

    If my impression of the Energy Egg is correct, it would be extremely valuable for anyone with any sort of 'entity' problem.

    I bought one of these, complete with transmitter, in July 2006, and within a few days it was seeming as though my steady increase in peaceful happiness and deep inner power which was already being brought about by my ongoing use of The Work had dramatically accelerated. I later obtained and started using a related device called the Guardian Angel (not to be confused with non-physical entities which have been so (mis)named), which is a space-active environmental stress eliminator.

    The Energy Egg is claimed to steadily clear one's lifelong accumulation of environmental stress, and the negative energy effects of non-physical entities is included in the egg's 'remit'. My own experience with the 'egg' appeared to be so dramatic in this respect that I purchased a second one and a Guardian Angel in order to have a massively swift retrospective process of clearance of all the negative effects on my energy system of the 'entities' as well as of people and all other negative influences.

    I was very sceptical when first introduced to the Energy Egg, and was convinced to buy one only after a demonstration of apparently conclusive energy testing (using the 'strong arm' test) demonstrated the dramatic positive effect of having one of these attuned and energetically connected with oneself. Because of the nature of this device, it will be dismissed as a con by all people who espouse the materialist-reductionist belief system. I, however, keeping an open mind, speak from experience and not belief.

  • Reduce environmental stress (ES) as far as you reasonably can, especially in your living space and workplace (if different). You may not be able to do a lot directly about your workplace if you're working for an employer, but at least you can do something about many of the ESs in your living space. Yes, an Energy Egg would enable you to become progressively more immune to most ESs, BUT it is still greatly helpful to actually remove or minimize actual stresses wherever reasonably possible (without getting paranoid about it!), because it is actually somewhat weakening to your system to just rely on the assistance of a device without lifting a finger to actually remove or ameliorate stress sources where that can be done.

    Standard Feng Shui is far too blunt an instrument to be a really effective guide for reducing your own ESs, for each person has his/her personal sensitivities, and the rules of standard Feng Shui don't cater for individual variation, and indeed contain quite a lot of dark force sourced 'old wifery'. So, what you need, then, is a sort of 'Feng Shui' that is based NOT on rules laid down by anyone, but instead is based on your own direct sensing of what is adversely affecting you in your environment and what can be done to eliminate or at least reduce those effects.

    The answer here is Energy Testing, which, when used carefully and vigilantly (to avoid or at least work round the likely dark force interference), can enable you to establish what is positively or adversely affecting you, and what you need to change.

    However, even without energy testing there are a few measures that you can take that would greatly help to reduce environmental stress in your living space, such as:
    • De-clutter your abode as far as possible. If you have lots of objects on window sills, shelves, cabinet or table tops - even if they are seemingly tasteful ornaments, clear them out as much as possible (though energy testing might indicate the odd ornament that, if placed in a particular position, might actually help neutralize a particular ES).
    • In particular, if you have any crystals around, clear those out.
    • Be aware that angular edges and corners (rather than rounded ones) on anything cause a type of ES, so anything you can reasonably do to minimize the number of these in your living space would help. Things like shelves and table tops are much better if they have rounded-off edges and distinctly rounded corners.
    • If your toilet has a lid, remember to generally keep the lid closed (except when actively in use of course!), for an 'open' toilet bowl generally has a small but distinct stressful / weakening effect on you, particularly if the lavatory / bathroom door is left open.
    • In some abodes - particularly small ones (like my own flat!), it can help to keep doors between rooms (yes, even the bathroom / lavatory) generally open except when needed to be closed for some specific reason. That can help the place to feel lighter and more 'open' (and indeed larger), and that would be much more harmonious for your whole system. To spend most of your time closed up in a small room is decidedly weakening (i.e. it is a sort of ES) and tends to encourage a closed-in, rigid sort of outlook, which would be playing into the dark force's 'hands'. Make your abode feel as expansive as possible and that would not only be less stressful but would help cultivate a more expansive outlook, which in turn supports your self actualization process and move towards maximum freedom and flexibility.
    • Keep some small(ish) house plants in your abode, and look after them well, for they are natural neutralizers of many kinds of ES and have a general supportive effect on one's life force. For this purpose you need plants with relatively rounded and non-pointed leaves, because points and sharp edges actually cause a type of ES. Certain succulents are ideal for this purpose, while, for example, cacti are completely out because of their spines. Probably many places in your abode where it would be best to have such plants would be too dark for them really to thrive, so it may turn out to be best simply to have a few on your window sills. They would still have quite a strong general ES neutralization effect there, and you could also place photos of green foliage in other positions in lieu of actual plants, where it would be too dark for the latter to thrive. Incidentally, both the recommended examples illustrated below can easily be propagated from broken off leaves.

      'Money plant'
      The Jade Plant (Crassula ovata) - a great old favourite. Readily gets top heavy and may need very occasional pruning (like this one) to prevent it from eventually toppling out when you open the window!
      Pachyphytum bracteosum
      Pachyphytum bracteosum - a particularly nice and harmonious succulent with a 'smoother' energy effect than the Jade Plants. Particularly good for bedrooms, if it's given enough light and doesn't get too cold.
  • Improved lighting in your living space. Dim, and especially tungsten lighting - and indeed candles, which latter are often used because of their supposed 'spiritual' associations, encourage weakness of grounding of one's awareness and also negative and depressive feelings and outlooks, and thus are favoured by the dark force. Indeed, often the dark force 'guides' the affected people into installing dim lighting in their abodes. Such poor lighting also often causes or at least aggravates seasonal affective disorder (SAD), which again plays into the dark force's 'hands'.

    Daylight coloured lighting is best, and the closer the light's spectrum is to that of real daylight, the better. Although ordinary 'daylight' fluorescent lights could be a step forward, their spectra are actually not very healthy (and some studies have shown a significantly increased incidence of malignant melanoma among people regularly spending much of their time in that type of lighting, probably because of the related electromagnetic 'radiation'), and they can be too reminiscent of offices and other workplaces. What I particularly recommend, having been using them myself for a little while now, is the energy-efficient Biobulb*, and for all basic room lighting to use the more powerful version, which claims to be 100W tungsten equivalent but seems brighter, and consumes just 25W. I caution, however, that, like ALL fluorescent or other electronic lighting devices, these create a certain low level of environmental stress from their electromagnetic 'radiation' effects, so it is best to also have an Energy Egg or/and Guardian Angel / Archangel (better, both) and ensure that they have been tuned to any stress from these lights.

    * N.B. This is not an affiliate link, and I make no financial gain from any sales of these.

    There's little point in having a bright light and then hiding most of that light with a shade, so I recommend a type of 'shade' that spreads the light around in a way that reduces dazzle when the light is looked at but still allows nearly all the light out into the room. As is the case for all lampshades, it is advisable to use energy testing to ascertain that any lampshade isn't itself causing significant environmental stress (most do), or at least to have an Energy Egg or / and Guardian Angel (optimally, both) and ensure that they have been tuned to any stress from the shade(s).

    It's also worth noting that many lampshades that are okay for incandescent bulbs are unsuitable for such low-energy electronic bulbs, which latter tend to be readily damaged by even very modest overheating produced by inadequate ventilation.

    If you feel that you must have dim lighting, it would be helpful to put all your thoughts and beliefs about that to inquiry using The Work, or better, dissolve the relevant troublesome thought forms / belief / illusory reality by means of the Grounding Post procedure, for you have objectively no need for dim lighting except possibly briefly for some specific purpose, and, as I say, dim lighting aggravates any problem with entities and dark force interferences.

  • Use of an appropriate and truly empowering set of affirmations for self actualization and clearance of entities and dark force interferences. This increases your mental focus in various greatly empowering ways, so weakening the hold and interferences of entities and the dark force upon you, and makes all your self healing, self actualization and entity clearance methods more focused, purposeful and effective.

    The best such sets of affirmations that I found originally had serious dark force sourced distortions that would make them in some ways quite harmful despite their helpful aspects, so I produced by far the most comprehensive set of self actualization affirmations that I've yet seen, and have worked carefully to eliminate every trace of dark force influence that I could find (and will no doubt still fine tune various parts in that respect). These affirmations are contained in The Guide to Complete Self Actualization.

  • When you are out and about, especially when walking out in the open, keep your gaze for the most part gravitating towards the horizontal*. It's important not to misinterpret this and to hold your gaze or indeed your head in any fixed position, but the point is, to avoid tending to have your gaze either generally being downwards at the ground or (as occurs less widely) rather upwards. So, what we are after here is to regard a near-horizontal gaze as being one's 'home position' with regard to direction of gaze, and NOT a continuously held position. So, you can still look at the clouds in the sky and admire their beauty, and also admire the beauty of the wild flowers at your feet - not to mention successfully avoiding the odd lumps of dog poo! - and it's healthiest to have that sort of flexibility and variety in one's everyday experience.

    * I want to be clear that I don't mean necessarily exactly horizontal, because for many people - myself included - the optimal 'home position' appears to be slightly lower than horizontal - but only a little so, so that in broad terms your gaze tends to vary around horizontal rather than mostly really looking down at the ground or up into the sky.

    A marked downward tendency in one's gaze tends to close down one's awareness and to be generally weakening, and is also associated with a limited outlook and a tendency to live on autopilot rather than to apply clear thinking and awareness to one's everyday experience; it is thus encouraged by the dark force to give it more control over people. An upward tendency in one's gaze makes for weakening one's grounding and more openness to 'spacey' and astral perceptions (and thus to dark force interference / control), and the related distortion in the head-neck relationship, with the head typically being pulled back in relation to the neck, whose big muscles at the back then become over-shortened, distorts major elements in the person's 'energy' system and indeed their whole body's functioning.

    The Alexander Technique is the smart way to gain healthy head / neck alignment and gain that near-horizontal 'home position' of one's gaze in a maximally natural and flexible way. Without the Alexander Technique, attempts to raise or lower your regular 'gaze home position' would most likely result in your causing yourself further problems through additional misuse of your neck. A multitude of other benefits also come from use of the Alexander Technique, including considerably improving your grounding, and really it's a pretty well essential component of a really effective self actualization process or methodology.


Management of the attacks
(i.e. gaining MASTERY over them!)

  • Keep hold of your sense of present time reality! The attacks that some people experience consist of the dark force causing old stored feelings of fear, anxiety, panic, depression etc (even inappropriate and sometimes bizarre sexual arousals or feelings of ecstasy, even including supposedly spiritual ecstasy) to surface strongly, even sometimes with a hellish intensity, and the feelings may be made to feel still more horrific by the dark force adding in nasty feelings to make the experience bring to mind 'dark' experiences such as being killed by a curse or taking part in horrific black magic rituals. This nasty little trick was used on me to make it seem that I was being killed by a curse, and more recently, to try to drag me into Satanistic (and worse) sexual activities.

    These attacks can be accompanied by alarming or even horrifying threats or descriptions of what is supposedly happening to you. For example, during one long-sustained attack I was told that a lethal curse had been put on me and my internal organs were in the process of liquefaction, and once I'd died (excruciatingly) I'd fall successively into each of the hells described in the Buddhist teachings. On another occasion the inner voice was claiming that it was "Anlil (sic), King of the Underworld", and he was in the process of killing me and when I died he would take me captive in the "astral dimension" so that I wouldn't be able to move on to where I needed to go. Another time I was told that the particular attack would continue in a slow crescendo over the days and nights until I committed suicide. On yet another occasion allegedly I had bloodthirsty demons let loose upon me and these were supposedly eating my body from the inside so that I'd die and fall into the (alleged) Dark Realm and become a 'dark being' myself.

    My point here is that it's crucial to keep hold of the understanding that despite the sometimes horrific threats and horrific feelings to match, the threats are empty words and the feelings are only old trauma feelings that are being manipulated by the dark force and need releasing, and they do not represent any true threat in the present time. If the 'entities' say they are going to kill you, that is just more hot air and you can happily laugh at such flatus and get on with your life. If they say they will do something terrible to somebody else unless you, say, kill yourself or burn the house down, you can laugh at such an inane bit of old codswallop and go ahead and have a nice day, knowing that it was a completely empty threat from a bit of rogue programming.

    It's worth pointing out here that my descriptions of 'attack' experiences are based on my own experience, which was extremely atypical because I was already enlightened. I was experiencing the feelings of particular emotional traumas but without getting very much into their emotional states. Thus I could feel the nightmarish feelings of intense anxiety, fear or terror without actually being to any great extent anxious, frightened or terrified - indeed my underlying emotional state remained pretty well just that of 'peaceful observer' of the feelings throughout the attacks. Because of this, as I understand it, the dark force was able to attack me much more intensely than the vast majority of affected people would experience - but on the other hand the usually lesser attacks that most people would experience would actually be much more upsetting and disruptive.

    However, attacks from certain 'spirit attachments'* (something that I myself have not experienced) are a different matter, and for quite a number of people these can be more severe than what one would get from the dark force directly, and in unusual cases, when used repeatedly to weaken and wear a person down, can be fatal (but, generally speaking, ONLY where the person already believes that (s)he is being killed). This is thus a more serious situation, but the catch is that if a person 'knows' that 'spirit attachments' can attack more severely and harmfully, the dark force will readily seek to persuade the person that it is such a spirit attachment, so making its attacks more severe in effect just because of the person's particular belief being exploited by the dark force.

    * Actually, as already noted, my understanding now is that true spirit attachments do not themselves attack, and what affected people experience is a powerful type of elemental that is programmed to pose as a supposed spirit attachment. The elemental doesn't attack in the way that the dark force does itself, but it can attack in other ways, such as having a whole range of physical effects, including shaking the person about (I'm not referring to ordinary trembling here) and indeed even pretty well throwing the person about, causing the person to fall over or collide with objects and so quite often injure himself. Such elementals also can do harmful things inside a person's body, and I suspect that this is what is happening when particular people think they are being killed by a spirit attachment.

    However, such an elemental wouldn't be working in isolation, and attacks and very troublesome pseudo-thoughts and illusory realities intruded by the dark force would still be a major part of the picture; it's just that the elemental would fill in some gaps in the awfulness of what the dark force can normally do to a person.

    Where has such an elemental come from? -- It can be (usually unawarely) created by and passed on from another person, or if the affected person gets sufficiently ungrounded, the dark force is able to hijack a particular part of that person's 'energy' system in a way that enables the dark force to cause him to unawarely create the elemental himself. Only people being severely controlled by the dark force can create such elementals; the dark force cannot do it directly, and indeed it cannot cause this to happen for most of the people to whom it's giving a hard time.

    People who are seriously into 'dark' practices deliberately create such elementals, and indeed other elementals that most people would regard as still worse.

    That is why graveyards are places worth not lingering in - because it's common for people who are into dark practices to carry out various practices in graveyards at night, indeed creating various highly problematical elementals there. All it takes then is for a sufficiently weakly grounded person to come along (at any time of day) and linger in such a graveyard for some perfectly innocent reason, and that person could easily get landed with an extremely harmful 'spirit attachment' that is really one of the elementals that had been left there in the graveyard.

    My first knowing encounter with this sort of 'spirit attachment' phenomenon was actually through being introduced to a mentally retarded and physically distorted woman near Beaworthy, Devon, England in 1998, who had tormenting 'voices' that appeared to her to be of three people who were then still living in India. The story was that she had a "spirit attachment" that had caused all this, and she had picked it up as a very young child, when she'd been playing in a graveyard and, allegedly, had at one point urinated on one of the graves - at which point, allegedly, the 'spirit' had entered her by travelling up her urine stream.

    I think the bit about anything entering her system via her urine stream would have been superstitious rubbish (elementals, or indeed discarnate human consciousnesses, being non-physical, don't need a physical means of entry into one's energy system), and I'd say that urinating on a grave wouldn't necessarily have had anything to do with the problem - though that would have depended on the specific programming of the elemental concerned. The primary thing would have been simply her lingering in the graveyard, where, pretty evidently, some 'dark' practitioners had been leaving elementals behind, probably with the specific intent to cause problems for innocent visitors there.

    The point about elementals often being made to appear to be actual conscious entities or 'spirits' underlines the inadvisability of getting into 'story' about what sort of entity or other manifestations are affecting you, and the great benefits of simply concentrating on the means to clear ALL entity and dark force interferences (including elementals), as are given on this site.

  • Understand that any transient stabbing pains, whether of migraine-like headache or elsewhere on the body, are almost certainly caused by the dark force, possibly through the intermediary of an elemental, and they are absolutely nothing to worry about as they do not reflect any underlying physical problem.

  • Similarly recognise troublesome spasms or clenching of the anus or bladder sphincter and many kinds of gut spasm as probably caused by the dark force (again, possibly via an elemental) and nothing to worry about. The dark force often causes a collection of troublesome gut spasms that get diagnosed by doctors as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)*.

    * I should stress, however, that not all cases of alleged IBS necessarily have this cause. Indeed, another major factor is commonly various types of environmental stress. You can do something about the latter - see Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

    Anal clenching caused by the dark force can make even very mild haemorrhoids very painful* and enlarged and can also greatly aggravate and sometimes actually cause anal fissures, making the latter agonizingly painful and extremely difficult to heal. Similarly sourced clenching of the pee sphincter causes difficulty of peeing and is easily mistaken for prostate trouble or 'shy bladder' syndrome - the latter especially as the dark force may deliberately produce that effect by attacking with the particular anxiety feelings and anxious pseudo-thoughts.

    * Actually, that was how it appeared to me, but more recently I found that the horrible pain that I'd been getting, which I'd assumed was the haemorrhoids being made painful by the clenching, was really a phantom pain, based on what was basically just a relatively mild discomfort but tremendously magnified and distorted to give it a really grating 'raw edge' to make it all feel like a raw open wound, and then projected ('referred) to particular parts of the anus, simultaneously with quietly intruding into the person's mindspace some pseudo-thoughts intimating as to which particular parts were actually being so painful.
  • Recognise sensations of (invisible) hands on yourself as being from the dark force (possibly via an elemental) seeking to unsettle you. They are not actually doing anything to you through having real hands upon you. I had this sort of experience as an ongoing thing, with sensations of hands round the top of my head and especially a hand on my right temple. One time during a particularly severe ordeal from the dark force I was given the impression of hands holding both sides of my head and I was told that my head was about to be wrenched off. It was all hot air to try to frighten me, and nothing happened.

    There has to be some degree of qualification here, however, because the dark force may indeed be weakening or distorting your non-physical aspects where you feel the hand(s), and so some sensible vigilance for abnormal developments on the body there is required. In my case this phenomenon led to a blatantly, obviously abnormal almost chalky white raised skin lesion on my right temple, which, bizarrely, three successive doctors independently refused to recognise as any sort of a lesion, and in the end, when it was starting more purposefully to enlarge and was, according to my inner inquiry, actually just in the process of becoming malignant, I managed to bypass the useless doctors and present it to the practice nurse who was giving me cryosurgery for some normal solar keratoses. She was quite clear that what I'd identified as an incipient cancer was for 'zapping' there and then, and did the honours, so destroying it.

    I can only speculate that the doctors had actually been unawarely guided by the dark force into failing to recognise the growth as being anything significant, for the specific purpose of giving me a cancer.

  • Recognise inappropriate and particularly any obviously unhealthy sexual urges or desires* as most likely being controlling attacks from the dark force. I am not referring here to plain sexual orientation (homo or hetero), but I do include paedophilia and strong clothing fetishes and desire for anal penetration, fellatio or other lurid or obviously unhealthy 'variations' as occur in Satanistic sexual practices, or lusting after obviously inappropriate or unhealthy types of people (e.g. alcoholics or other drug addicts). It is important to resist such urges**, not for any moralistic reason but because such fixations directly bar you from true happiness in your life and they give the dark force more power over you and so bring you further unhappiness and indeed potentially great torment that way.

    * One relatively common instance that hardly anyone dares admit to having is some degree of sexual arousal at thoughts or images of torture or other traumatically dehumanizing behaviour towards another person. The dark force may or may not be directly involved in any specific case of this, but in probably nearly all cases attached parasitic 'lost' souls would be involved. In any case, if you have such an issue, you're far from alone with it, and there's nothing wrong with you - and you can take it from me that the tendency for such inappropriate arousals would dissolve as you progress in your use of self actualization methods such as I give in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

    ** However, that does NOT mean that you have to stress yourself out by total resistance to the urges, for that itself would be harmful. The workable pragmatic way of handling this is to avoid actually physically doing what the urges are pointing you towards, but, when it would be too disruptive to your life (and especially your sleep) otherwise, to carry out solo sexual acts in which, at most, you only visualize the particular 'variation' or person. Such visualizations can then be very helpfully 'steered' towards letting go of the particular 'variation' while focusing in a more healthy (or at least less unhealthy) way upon a particular person with whom you feel an appropriate connection.

    N.B. Total abstinence is the flip side of sexual compulsions, and generally the urge for it comes, again, from the dark force. An aware clear-minded flexible and responsible pragmatism is the way through.

    If you use Grounding Post or the EFT or the inquiry method of The Work on such issues it's greatly helpful in such work that you do NOT regard some of your sexual urges as okay and therefore not requiring being put to 'process'. It's very necessary to work in the same way on the thoughts and beliefs underlying ALL your urges or desires, however 'right' or normal they may seem to be. That would not in any way harm or take away your true, healthy sexual feelings, and indeed would actually help uncover your true healthy (and happy) state.

    In the meantime, as already noted, if the urges are too distracting to ignore, it is much better to find some relief through solo sexual acts based on a relevant (and preferably less unhealthy) fantasy, rather than to act out what the urge (generally sourced either directly or indirectly from the dark force) is trying to get you to do. I say this not in any judgemental sense, but just because the more you comply with the urges and desires, the more you are allowing yourself to be in the control of the dark force and the more unhappiness if not torment you would be bringing yourself in the long run.

  • Recognise exaggerated nasty feelings or emotional responses over small matters as being attacks and not your natural emotional response to the situations. For example, if you're a little nervous about some irregularity of bowel function (which the dark force may indeed have caused) or have a suspect spot on your skin and are wanting to check it out with a doctor (a perfectly reasonable thing to do), if you are experiencing strong anxiety / fear / panic feelings about the matter, that is almost certainly the dark force attacking, and if you recognise that as an attack you can actually start also recognising that your true natural response to the situation is nothing more than a mild concern. That doesn't make the nasty feelings any more pleasant but it does help you to start detaching yourself from the feelings and getting out of the emotional state of fear / anxiety / panic - an important part of your healing and self actualization process.

    Self recriminatory or strong anger feelings are also bound to be attacks from the dark force rather than your own true emotional response to the particular people or situations.

  • Know that the attack will pass! Like a great thunderstorm, an attack may seem to fill the whole of existence and look as though it will go on for ever, and the dark force will feed in pseudo-thoughts and feelings to make the attack seem just like that, and even that the attack will consume and destroy you. But, like the thunderstorm, the attack WILL pass, and all the sooner if you keep hold of this perspective.

    The worst thing you can do is to believe any story you are given to the effect that you are being seriously harmed or even killed, for it is the dark force's exploitation of such a belief that is one of its most potent sorts of attack.

  • Supportive company. The presence of supportive people around you is greatly helpful as it tends to ground and balance your awareness and take you out of any feedback loop of fear, anxiety and panic and get your attention onto the supportiveness of present time reality. Because almost all hospital psychiatric workers have little or no understanding of such issues and are geared up for medication and ECT to suppress symptoms, hospital is not the place to go if at all possible*.

    If you live on your own, when significant attacks are occurring it is tremendously helpful to sleep out with supportive friends for a few nights. Failing that, which indeed was an option that I myself didn't have, a good move is to contact a local crisis service, which may be able to put you out into respite care* for a few nights instead - much preferable to hospital unless you know how best to handle the hospital situation (as I came to). Or even, if you have the money to do it, you might go away to somewhere you like for a few days, staying in a B&B or guest house that feels friendly to you. However, unless you can be sure that your choice of the latter would get you some supportive people around you, that would be unlikely to be an effective option, even though support services might recommend it to you (one well intentioned community psychiatric nurse without full understanding of my issue actually did actually recommend that option to me).

    * If respite care isn't available and a psychiatric hospital appears to be the only option, contrary to popular supposition, that isn't the end of the world and could even be the better option if you have the right outlook.

    See how I got on with my third and fourth hospitalizations, when that had to suffice as my 'respite care' during dark force induced crises. I explained articulately to the doctors and nurses that my real need was respite care and not specifically hospital and definitely not the inevitable medication, so that I could get fully grounded again by having supportive people around me. Like that I got the support and regrounding that I needed from the lovely people there working as nurses. Meanwhile the doctors quickly accepted my taking only a token medication that really had no significant effect on me, either positive or negative**, but admirably served its purpose as a sop for the doctors. wink On that page I also give a list of suggestions for ways in which you can make a positive experience out of a psychiatric hospital stay.

    ** Actually even that little did have subtle harmful effects that potentially could presumably have caused problems in the very long term, as I later established by means of energy testing.

    I also recommend that if at all possible, if faced with such hospitalization, you seek in an articulate sort of way to get any consultant, doctors and nurses who are involved with you to read My Little Brush With Psychiatry, Night Hells (Night Terrors) and Hearing Voices and The True Nature of 'The Dark Force' and its Interference and Attacks to help them become more aware of the real healing issues involved. They may not appear to respond positively at that time, but it will at the very least have been an important learning opportunity for them, and may actually have got some of them quietly starting to really think about the important issues for the first time. Truly, you can choose to make any hospitalization of yours a positive and constructive (even enjoyable) experience for all involved, despite any down-sides of the experience!

    In Exeter, where I live, there is an excellent although underfunded Crisis Resolution Team attached to the psychiatric hospital, and members of this team recognise that many crises are not medical issues, and in fact they placed me in respite care on what would have been otherwise the occasion of a third hospitalization (May 2005), and, in the absence of respite care for my September and October 2006 crises, at least facilitated my hospitalization. Actually on other occasions with looming crises, just phoning the team and having a brief chat about the possibility of needing respite care or hospitalization grounded me enough to stall the attack. If more resources were made available for crisis team expansion, many more hospitalizations could be avoided and the cost of running the team recouped that way.

  • Breath control. Learn to breathe deeply and slowly throughout attacks, using your diaphragm so that you seem to be breathing deeply into your abdomen. If initially you cannot do this while you have panic feelings, and find yourself panting, try blowing up a large paper bag or a balloon, as this will take you out of the panting response and give you focus for concentrating on the necessary slow and deep breathing. Be slow and deliberate about the blowing, with pauses between breathing cycles if necessary, as you need to avoid hyperventilation. If you have no bag or balloon, pretend that you have, and go through the motions of blowing it up.

    Alternatively, a more effective method would be for you to use focused and aware Complete Breathing, with the tip of your tongue held to the front of your palate, as described in Some Potent Self-Realization / Healing Practices.

    N.B. It is important not to get attached to such consciously controlled breathing and go doing it all the time in your everyday life. You need to think of it as a practice that is carried out for short periods for a specific purpose, and which you let go of for your general everyday life outside those 'practice' periods.
  • Active practices. You can use the EFT tapping sequence (preferably but not necessarily with a setup statement) to speed the release of the trauma energy and help dissolve the attack - though nowadays I'd recommend instead a picking from the practices given or pointed to in Some Potent Self-Realization / Healing Practices - particularly Self-Power Walking, which appears to release emotional trauma energy at a prodigious rate, and is wonderfully grounding, which latter is especially what you need for getting your attention out of the feedback loop of trauma emotion (and very likely some sort of threatening illusory reality that's been covertly put into the back of your mind), so that the attack can dissolve. Another tremendously helpful method, described on the same page, is Grounding Post. This too releases emotional traumas and other problematical things such as thought forms, but on a more individual rather than wholesale basis. Ideally, one would use both of these methods.

  • A healing visualization. During an attack, never mind how severe, know that it will pass, and concentrate on the breathing and use the core point visualization that I give in Healing From One's Core essence.

    Using such breath control and visualization helps take you out of the emotional state of fear / anxiety / panic / depression so that you are becoming the peaceful observer of the nasty feelings and then you can feel fear without being frightened and feel panic without being in a state of panic, and feel anxiety without being anxious, and feel depression simply as a nasty feeling without being depressed.

    When this happens you are actually releasing significant amounts of those old feelings from your system, so that the attacks are becoming actual healing sessions for you - albeit extremely uncomfortable ones. You can learn to keep this peaceful breathing and visualization going during attacks even while going about your everyday life, and that is greatly empowering.

    Note that in such circumstances you are actually carrying out a powerful self actualization practice - learning to be the peaceful observer of even the most difficult experiences - and this is a highly beneficial discipline for the whole of your life, bringing you quickly towards the possibility of gaining fundamental clarity (enlightenment). It is a much more powerful and beneficial practice than standard formal sitting meditation.

    However, I do not mean this practice to be used as a substitute for Self-Power Walking, Grounding Post or indeed the EFT. This is simply another string for your bow. Using a range of methods is much better than being attached to one - particularly as the dark force would seek to get you attached to a method that's not all that effective for you - surprise, surprise! wink - And no, I'm not going to recommend the Bible (or Koran or other major religious 'Good Book') as yet another string for your bow, although, if you have one, tearing out its pages and putting them all into your paper recycling bin would be a seriously positive and helpful step, seeing that the Bible and all equivalent religious books are actually dark force sourced tracts (remember? 'God' is just an illusory manifestation of the dark force!), never mind what 'pearls of wisdom' they appear to contain.

  • Trembling and laughter. Generally speaking, trembling is the natural release process for deeper levels of fear and related emotions, while laughter is the natural release process for the lighter levels of fear and other fear-related emotions (including embarrassment). On the face of it, therefore, it would appear logical to allow these fully, together with any crying that may come up, so again making the attacks into self healing sessions, which are progressively reducing the amount of 'ammunition' that you are carrying, which the dark force could use for further attacks.

    The problem with this approach, which indeed the dark force may actually encourage you to adopt (as it did with me) is that the store of trauma emotion that is being tapped is most likely a very big one indeed, from one or more severely traumatized parasitic 'lost' souls attached to you and thus not to any great extent your own material at all. It would very likely take far too long to release a significant proportion of such material through your own natural, 'biological' release processes, and in any case that is really hard and taxing work when it is sustained for long periods, and can readily get people around you stigmatizing you as 'emotionally unstable' (or worse). Also, sustained use of such release processes tends to keep your awareness ungrounded and focused on the attack and the trauma emotion(s), so helping to perpetuate the attack.

    For this reason, although it's unhelpful and unhealthy altogether to suppress such natural releases when they first arise, it's best to turn your attention to either purely grounding activities to get your attention right out of the attack, or to use special practices for both grounding and rapid and painless release of emotional traumas - see Active practices, above.

    Laughter is not necessarily such a problem here. Indeed, in its healthy form it is a tremendous healer and, provided it comes out in a light-hearted and not sustained way, is greatly helpful. It is also disempowering to the dark force, which generally seeks to keep the person taking their 'entity' / dark force troubles seriously. You can healthily have much more of an inner laugh at the comical nature of any threats, for they are all hot air, just trying to play on your fears, and laughter wins through handsomely. The problem with a lot of overt laughter, even of the healthy type, is just the same as with crying or trembling - including the problem of people getting to see you as 'emotionally unstable'.

    The sort of laughter to recognise as problematical and actually get right away from if it starts happening is the very intense sort that brings tears to your eyes and tends to come in repeating paroxysms, when something seems just too funny to be true. That is actually the result of a dark force attack with a particular type of emotion energy. A tell-tale sign that it isn't healthy for you is that if you do allow it to sustain significantly you quickly get to feel exhausted and weary - which strongly suggests that when that happens the dark force or one or more entities has actually been draining energy from you. This type of laughter is in fact ALWAYS the result of an attack for the purpose of draining your energy, whether or not you are aware of any other sort of attack or even believe (almost certainly incorrectly) that you have no entity or dark force interference at all.
  • The 'Energy Egg', listed in the previous section. If you have one of these, there is a simple procedure described in the egg's instruction leaflet, for tuning it to specific energy stresses that you are receiving, such as from particular electronic equipment. This procedure will also help if used when you are getting an attack from the dark force. It will not necessarily stop a current attack (but in my experience it has actually stopped most of my non-major ones without other action being required), but at least it will enable the 'egg' to be more efficient in reducing the negative effects of any attacks upon your energy system (aka your aura), so that you become progressively more resistant to any attacks and indeed become plain healthier. And, of particular importance in such a situation, it would generally enable you to become more resistant to the particular emotional 'button pushing' that is being used as part of the mechanism of a particular attack.

    In order that the most effective technique be used for this purpose, let's be specific, because there are various ways to tune your Energy Egg to an environmental stress. Here the procedure required is the same as for unidentified environmental stresses. There are two ways that I can particularly recommend, though I particularly recommend the second, especially if you have more than one Energy Egg, and particularly if you have additional types of Energy Egg, such as the Chronic Shock or Relationships Egg.
    • You have your eyes closed and are holding the Energy Egg in one hand, which is closed around it, down by your side (the arm loosely hanging if you're upright). While standing, sitting or lying like this, you go through one to three cycles of complete or extra-complete breathing, allowing your mind to be as empty as possible with the intent that you are tuning your awareness to whatever environmental stresses are affecting you at that point (whether or not you are aware of or can feel any of them). Then you open your eyes and hold one end of the Energy Egg (the broad end if it's one of the old egg-shaped ones) to your mid-brow position and swallow once while it is held there.

    • Leaving your Energy Egg sitting upright on its transmitter base, you are either standing or lying on your back with legs straight out (but not stiffly held). With both hands you hold their palms upwards with fingers together and pointing away from you horizontally to the front (if standing) or towards your feet (if lying), except for having the tip of thumb and forefinger touching. You keep your eyes closed with your hands like that, and go through two or three cycles of complete or extra-complete breathing, with an open mind and the general intent that you are enabling your deeper aspects to get a 'handle' on all stresses that are affecting you at that time (whether or not you can feel any of them). Then, with your hands still held like that, you open your eyes and carry out three quick 'cycled' breaths - that is, in through the nostrils, out through partly closed lips (i.e. with a 'pffff'), as though you were blowing onto your Egg(s), even though you're not doing so physically.

      This procedure doesn't require holding the Energy Egg at all, and if you have more than one, all sitting upright on their transmitter bases, they will all be tuned to the particular stress(es). It can thus be carried out wherever you are. This procedure is particularly effective if you have more than one kind of Energy Egg, because, especially if you have energetically connected all of them together and with any Guardian Angel or other member of that 'family' of devices, when you carry out the procedure you are tuning each Egg to whatever aspects of your current stresses that the particular type of Egg is programmed to assist you with.

    I use this procedure routinely every time I become aware of an attack or other dark force interference. I used to keep an Energy Egg on its transmitter base on my bedside cabinet top so that when an attack or other disturbance came to my attention during the night I could simply reach out, pick up the Energy Egg and go through the first of the above procedures while lying on my back, and then replace the Energy Egg on its base, without having to get out of bed at all. Nowadays it's even simpler because I use the second procedure given above, so I don't have to mess about directly with any of the Eggs at all - except that I prefer to finish off with an 'end of practice' procedure, and thus still keep one of my Energy Eggs at my bedside to use for that.

    You can also use energy testing to identify specific environmental stress sources and tune the Energy Egg to them individually.

  • Progressive self immunization, using a polished stone sphere. This involves ongoing use of the Grounding Post procedure (particularly) and simple related procedures to activate particular healing and clearance intents.
  • Medication. As already stated, medication used in an ongoing way is highly problematical (NO 'depot' injections!), but a sleeping tablet (Zopiclone is one of the less harmful ones*) can sensibly be used OCCASIONALLY in order to get a night's sleep** during an attack. The dark force, when attacking, generally seeks to deprive you of successive nights' sleep to make you still more vulnerable to it and make a wreck of you. Thus, ensuring that you have at least a minimum of sleep to keep you going is part of empowering yourself and disempowering the dark force interference.

    * Beware of all benzodiazepines including Diazepam, Temazepam, Lorazepam (Ativan) and Nitrazepam, which are all much more harmful long-term than the medics recognise.

    ** However, I must emphasize that there is a serious price that is paid by using any such 'sleeping' medication, especially if at all regularly. I explain more about this further below.

    Some people may find herbal preparations of Valerian and hops such as Kalms useful, but I myself found Kalms ineffective, and more recent energy testing on them showed them actually to be potentially significantly harmful for me in terms of likely very long term effects (i.e. they would have been a significant problem if I'd kept taking that preparation). In any case the notion of natural drugs being better than synthetic drugs, although having grains of truth, is highly misleading, because the important point is, as far as sensibly possible, to avoid medication altogether and work on resolving the underlying causes of problems, as you can with the methods pointed to in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

    I strongly recommend using energy testing to establish what medication options are likely to give the best compromise between harm to you and benefits through managing to get much-needed sleep. My own findings on this matter relate specifically to me, so your own energy testing for yourself might come up with different answers, for we are each unique in our particular combinations of sensitivities, 'resonances' and vulnerabilities, even though there are also particular vulnerabilities that everybody has, to at least some degree.

    In most cases if you have an Energy Egg you can minimize (note that I do not say 'eliminate') the harm from any medication of yours by tuning your Egg to it, using the method that is given in the instruction leaflet (though I have described it in the next to previous list item).

    Side effects. My personal experience was that one 7.5 mg Zopiclone or one 5 mg Nitrazepam* sleeping tablet taken at bedtime or up to about midnight didn't cause me noticeable problems, but doses of Haloperidol greater than 1.5 mg taken at or after bedtime consistently caused me a troublesome drowsiness for much of the following day, even when taken without a sleeping tablet. Although I didn't identify any other side effects at home, the hospital consultant who saw me told me that urine retention was a known side effect of Haloperidol and thought that that was very likely the culprit in my urine retention episodes in hospital (though I'm fairly sure that the dark force was the prime culprit). I keep an open mind on the issue. My inner inquiry supported by energy testing suggests that in terms of prospective long term effects all my use of Haloperidol was significantly harmful - though I may well have now pretty well cleared out all that harm through use of the the Returning Life Sequence plus use of my Energy Egg and Guardian Angel.

    * As already noted, my inner inquiry supported by energy testing (relating specifically to effects on me) has shown that Nitrazepam, Temazepam, Diazepam and all the related, benzodiazepine family of drugs look to be seriously harmful. This is not so much in terms of any immediate side effects that would get recognised as caused by the drugs, but long term effects that would cause a whole variety of health problems, most likely appearing over many years, and thus nobody who doesn't skilfully use the sort of energy testing that I now use would be able to trace the origin of the various health issues when they do arise, and link them to these actually very nasty drugs.

    I had found Zopiclone more effective anyway, but with my new inner inquiry / energy testing results I know now not to use any benzodiazepine drugs if at all possible, even supposing the dark force managed to put upon me another crisis-level attack.

    I didn't notice any effect, either positive or negative, from 0.5 mg Risperidone tablets (an alternative to Haloperidol). My inner inquiry indicated that it wasn't seriously harmful for me when taken only occasionally in that dosage - though taking it regularly as the medics wanted would have been distinctly harmful, with long-term harmful effects that no medics would have associated back to the use of Risperidone. The same actually can be said of most medications, including non-pharmaceutical, so-called 'natural' remedies. Basically, in terms of long-term harmful effects, my inner inquiry suggested that, dose for dose, Risperidone was most likely no less harmful than Haloperidol.

    My very strong recommendation is that if you have ever used any of these, you use an Energy Egg to enable yourself to progressively heal the long-term harm that those medications have done for you (which would cause various physical and maybe mental problems later in life). You would need to tune the device to the particular medication(s); you could do this by means of doing an Internet search for images of the particular medication, and tune the device to a photo of a tablet, capsule or even an original manufacturers' pack or container for the medication. That would enable a retrospective healing to start occurring, and needs to be done only once for each medication type.


Ways of handling a prospective rough night

One of the most intimidating and indeed weakening aspects of being under attack from the dark force is the heavy intrusions upon your supposed resting and sleep time, not only giving you typically very troublesome and stressful experiences but also depriving you of sleep. In a phase of major attacks, each forthcoming night can seem to be an intimidating prospect - especially if you live on your own, and the dark force's manifestations, often shrouded in fear and menace, are seemingly your only 'company'. I myself (indeed, living on my own and having no local friends to turn to at night) had a gutful of this sort of thing, and have, bit by bit, developed a whole multi-prong strategy to take the sting out of all this and enable myself to greatly minimize the strongest disturbances and to return to peaceful undisturbed nights at an early stage.

My experience suggests that it's unrealistic to expect to be able to use some 'magic wand' or 'silver bullet' to completely stop all interferences and attacks at a stroke, but even so, having a strategy that enables you to address each situation that arises gives an overall sense of self command and self assurance, so that the prospect of what looks bound to be a disturbed night is no longer anything like as intimidating as it would have been otherwise. If, during my major crisis events in 2004 I'd had the sort of strategy that I have now for managing disturbed nights, I'd have stalled those crises, and indeed my hospitalizations would almost certainly not have occurred.

One thing to let go of is the notion that you've got to try to get to sleep, for that helps generate and perpetuate stress when you're actually not getting to sleep, and the dark force will use that as one of its means to keep you awake and wear you out all the more. So, it's greatly helpful to be very accepting of your disturbances, even while doing what you can to minimize or eliminate them. In other words you do NOT lie in bed trying to get to sleep, but you lie in bed peacefully resting and giving yourself what opportunity you can to sleep, with an open mind, without any preconceptions about what 'should' or 'ought to' happen at this point.


Let's consider the options

Here's a summary of the available options that come to mind. They are NOT all helpful options! 

  • Judiciously use the eight-point eye movements to disrupt and dissolve intruded 'visuals' (night hell and other disturbing images). The most effective and comfortable way to do these is to do the movements from the centre to one extreme, then in a straight line to the opposite extreme and then returning to the centre each time. Like this there are just four main lines to 'trace' with your eyes - horizontal, vertical and the two diagonals. The order in which you do them doesn't matter as long as you stick to one sequence so that you are cycling through them and not repeating anything within individual cycles.

    However, with practice you can probably dispense with those eye movements* and simply direct your gaze very purposely to the inside of your eyelids. This is what I do, and indeed I found that there is a particular direction to point my eyes (as though looking down my nose, but in a relaxed way and not forced, still with the eyes closed), into which the unwanted images simply don't intrude. With my eyes pointing there I'm then still aware of the unwanted images doing whatever they will in the periphery of my 'vision', but then it's only vague peripheral vision, like what you see out of the corners of your eyes when looking straight ahead, and, although seeing that things are going on, I'm not actually seeing what is going on, at least in any meaningful way, and so these impressions are no longer significantly disturbing. Pretty well always, then, the images fade out of my awareness within at most a minute or two. You can experiment and see if the same direction of gaze (with closed eyes), or indeed a different direction, similarly frees you from unwanted visual images.

    * That is, dispense with the eye movements for that specific purpose, and so reduce your distraction from going to sleep. The eight point eye movements are actually a very beneficial practice to be using anyway, as part of your everyday self healing / self actualization process, and I recommend two or three sessions of that during the day (best when lying on your back on the floor using a suitable reasonably low headrest). They can be incorporated into lie-downs that you may be doing anyway as part of your application of the much recommended Alexander Technique.
  • Have an Energy Egg sitting on its transmitter base (preferably energetically connected to a Guardian Angel or Archangel*), and use one of the procedures I describe further above to tune the Egg, or indeed all your Eggs if you have more than one, to all the environmental stresses that are affecting you at the present moment.

    * I mean here the large polished ovoid stones that are the 'big brothers' to the Energy Egg, and thus I'm not referring at all to any non-physical beings.
  • When a specific illusory reality involved in the attack and disturbances has been identified, get up briefly to sit at a desk / table to use the Grounding Post procedure using a suitable polished stone sphere in order to initiate dissolution of that illusory reality.

  • The 'supportive surroundings' regime. When under significant pressure, to better ground and balance your awareness, turn on a light to give yourself a very low level of illumination - such as in an adjoining room, with any connecting doors left open (i.e. so that you get only indirect and quite low level illumination but can feel connected to a brighter illumination), and with some ongoing reasonably peaceful music playing at an extremely low level, so that you can only just hear what it is (and indeed not properly hear any quieter parts of it). I use BBC Radio 3 (mostly classical music) for this purpose; fortunately nowadays it runs all night. I write more about this tactic in the notes further below.

  • () Arrange with a friend or friends for you to sleep out at their place for a night or so, for the purpose of getting your awareness better grounded. Whether this is a good idea would depend on individual circumstances. Not all friends would respond in such a way, or have such an outlook, that would be really supportive to your getting your awareness better balanced and grounded (regardless of how much you may like them or think you respect them), and, depending on your own outlook and how positively or otherwise you're handling your situation, your contact with them for this particular purpose could be a very unhelpful imposition upon them and an act of self disempowerment for you.

  • () Call a support service such as a Crisis Resolution Team, for a chat and ongoing periodic contact during the crisis event, for the purpose of getting your awareness better grounded. Although I always regarded this option as something of a last resort measure, for use when I was under particularly strong and troublesome attack, it was generally very helpful when I did use it. However, caution and clear-mindedness is essential to get the best out of such contacts, because if you are not careful you may find yourself being steered rather forcefully into using actually very harmful medication or/and actually being unnecessarily admitted into a psychiatric hospital, with all the problems that that could create for you. I may have been unusually fortunate in having such a helpful and supportive Crisis Resolution Team at my disposal, so I appreciate that this option may not necessarily be available or at least really helpful for most people.

  • () Take a sleeping tablet. These need to be avoided wherever sensibly possible, as I explain in the notes below, but there can be occasions when a tablet of nothing more harmful than Zopiclone can be the pragmatic best choice on balance, provided that it is used only occasionally (and then, only when things are really difficult) and not as a regular thing. In the notes below I explain something that you need to understand about the effects of such medication if you are to maximize your beneficial effects and minimize the inevitable harmful effects of using it.
    Note that, as already remarked, the whole benzodiazepine family of sedative and sleep inducing drugs is really too harmful (in terms of subtle long term effects) to be a sensible choice at any time. These include Temazepam, Diazepam (also known as Valium), Lorazepam (also known as Ativan) and Nitrazepam (also known as Mogadon). Barbiturates are much less helpful and much more harmful even than those, so are a complete no-no.

  • () Take antipsychotic medication. As I've already noted, to the best of my understanding, ALL antipsychotics are seriously harmful in terms of subtle long-term effects, in addition to shorter term gross harmful effects. This is thus to be avoided if at all possible. However, if you have contacts with the mental healthcare services relating to your dark force interference and attacks, if you are going to call a support service of some kind, it may actually be a good 'political' move, at an appropriate moment, to take a bare minimum dose (such as 0.5 mg Risperidone), not so much to try to quell your dark force attack but so that you can tell the particular support service, in answer to the inevitable question, that, yes, you have "been a good boy/girl" and taken, or are about to take, a dose of Risperidone (or whatever it is), and also that it's your policy to keep it to minimum dose because basically you're using other methods to deal with the situation, and you really want to keep off antipsychotics altogether because they are so harmful.
    If you show just that little flexibility and pragmatism, you're much more likely to get flexible and accommodating responses from the support people, who otherwise might very well really try to press you into thoroughly medicating yourself or even being admitted into psychiatric hospital, because they'd most likely assume that you don't know what's best for you, and would jump in to fill that perceived gap with the ignorance and unawareness of the whole 'mental health' mindset.

  • Don't go to bed, or alternatively, get up out of bed when you realize that you can't for the moment go to sleep, and get on with something. I understand that this is a common behaviour of insomniacs, and it is extremely harmful. You really do need that sleep, and I explain in the notes below how to go about making the best of the night if you've got sleeping difficulties for whatever reason, whether physical or non-physical.

  • () Call a doctor. Doing that means that you're treating the problem as a medical issue and you're bound to get a medical response, which generally would be far from what you need. The one exception would be, if you became clear that you needed a Zopiclone (or equivalent) sleeping tablet for the current night, and you hadn't any, and so were calling the doctor just for an emergency prescription for that.

  • () Get yourself admitted to a psychiatric hospital. To be avoided if humanly possible, but there can be situations in which, if you're smart and clear-minded in handling the situation, it could be the best option if the attack situation has become really dire. Very unlikely to be needed if you're using the practices and other measures listed above with large green ticks against them.

  • Do what some inner 'voice' or 'guidance' is directing or instructing you to do. If you heed and respond AT ALL to any such 'inner' communications, even if they seem to be coming from a 'higher' source, you're giving the dark force a 'handle' that it can use to keep you awake all night doing things at its bidding. And the things that you'd get directed to do, even if they seem benign enough initially, would most likely lead on to highly troublesome things, as I found out the hard way! A typical trick that my 'guidance' would play on me would be to claim that I just needed to do xyz and then I could get into bed and have some sleep - but it would always come up with something further that it claimed I also had to do first, so that there would be a whole succession of "But first there's one thing more you must do...", and actually I'd get no sleep and indeed have an altogether thoroughly exhausting night.

  • Pray to 'The Lord' for deliverance from evil(!). As already noted, 'God', 'The Lord', 'The Holy Spirit', and any present time manifestation of 'Jesus' are all just illusions created in one's mindspace under hijack-control from the dark force, so with such a praying approach you're onto a clear loser. Praying (never mind to who or to what) is intrinsically disempowering, so it is essential to keep any hint of praying right out of any consideration. In place of any praying that you might have wanted to do otherwise, the need is for setting of clear positive intents and making clear-minded practical choices to clear YOURSELF of the interferences and attacks that you're experiencing. As sweet little Margaret Thatcher used to yell at everyone about her policies when she became British Prime Minister in 1979, "THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE!"

  • Commit suicide (!) Pity about the '' rating, because it's an absolutely 100% effective way of getting rid of sleep problems! Pity that it also gets rid of you (hence that rating)!
    Still, joking aside, it actually makes sense to be aware of suicide as one of your available options - i.e. one of the options that, although available, simply doesn't make sense, and therefore that you are NOT going to use! That is actually much more empowering than just seeking to blinker yourself to what is unpalatable to you. The dark force would tend to exploit things that you try to hide from yourself...


Notes on dealing with actual situations


Small and incipient attacks

If at all possible, nip attacks in the bud! That means recognising early signs of an attack beginning, or indeed of when an attack is likely to have been initiated - i.e. without even waiting to see if an attack develops*. This is good policy by night or day.

* In my experience such occasions have generally been when I've woken up from an obvious dream, especially if it had any even slightly disturbing or stressful element, or if upon waking I got any sort of disturbing 'visual', however briefly. For me, attacks would usually commence in such situations, and there really was no point in waiting till I was actually getting the nasty feelings of an attack before taking the very simple action to 'zap' it.

Tune your Energy Egg! My own first line of 'defence' then is generally to tune my Energy Eggs to current unidentified stress sources, as already outlined in the above list. This is such a quick and easy procedure that you can do it quite frequently if an attack seems to be continuing to build, or one attack seems to go but then to come back. The dark force uses quite a succession of different 'button-pushings' as part of the mechanism of any attack, and so you may have successfully immunized yourself against some button-pushings but others may then be used, necessitating a further one or more tunings of your Energy Egg(s). Tuning one Energy Egg or even a whole collection of them is particularly easy to do a number of times during the night with minimum disruption of your night.

In my experience, tuning of my Energy Eggs to a very 'young' attack usually resulted in that attack not increasing further after perhaps 10 to 15 seconds and tailing off over anything from half a minute to half an hour.

Zap the illusory reality! If an attack is building up in spite of that, then there would almost certainly be a particular illusory reality that needs to be 'zapped' by use of the Grounding Post procedure on a suitable polished stone sphere. That, unfortunately, necessitates temporarily getting out of bed and sitting at a desk or table, and you may well find, through use of energy testing (really necessary for this procedure to work well), that there are additional illusory realities that need to be 'zapped' in that session. These would usually but not always be obviously related to each other.

However, it is important to use this procedure only with the most important of those illusory realities, because the dark force is very inclined to get a person frantically trying to 'zap' more and more supposed illusory realities (actually not really the priority ones to 'zap' at that point) and getting emotionally wound up and indeed ungrounded and exhausted in the process. Generally speaking, I don't recommend 'zapping' more than about three (carefully identified) illusory realities in one night. If that still isn't enough to get you clear of attack, then really you want to move on to the next level of 'protection', which is a matter of using practical means to get your attention out of the feedback loop mechanism of the attack - see the next section.

I have found it extremely helpful practice to do another tuning of my Energy Eggs to all current (unidentified) stress sources, as soon as I've finished a Grounding Post session, or indeed any other self healing or self actualization method or practice. These various methods are always liable to free up particular morsels of your 'material' in such a way that you can then be immunized a bit more effectively than previously by tuning your Energy Egg(s) to your various environmental stress sources (which include much of the dark force's interferences and attacks).

Zap the visuals! The other main nipping-in-the-bud tactic is to stop in their tracks any 'visuals' that you are getting. These may be night hell displays or other maelstroms of swirling images, or any sort of weird or disturbing image. Also needing to be similarly terminated are any 'visuals' of supposedly beneficial, Divine or indeed simply fascinating beings or entities. While you can usually dispel these by turning a light on, it's obviously best if you can achieve the clearance of such visual disturbances without disrupting your rest, so that you can swiftly fall asleep once clear of the disturbance. A usually quite brief use of the eight point eye movements, if carried out carefully according to my instructions, would normally clear such images, and indeed, as already noted, with practice you most likely wouldn't need to carry out the eye movements at all, just directing your gaze to the inside of your eyelids - particularly in a specific direction in which the unwanted images simply don't appear.

However, if your awareness has got weakly enough grounded that the 'visuals' are still intruding upon you, then again you need to use the procedure that I've already described for tuning your Energy Egg(s) to all current stress forces / 'energies', and then to repeat the eye movements and keep your attention on the inside of your eyelids. Again, if the problem persists or keeps recurring through a number of such tunings of the Egg, then see if you can identify an illusory reality that is needing to be 'zapped' by means of the Grounding Post procedure.

If you still have those visuals and they cannot simply be ignored, then you're on to the next level of 'protective' measures, for getting your awareness more grounded and your attention out of any feedback loop mechanism that is involved in the disturbance.


Stronger or more resilient, sustained attacks

Generally, to get to this point you'd have used (as appropriate) the above three methods first, because they can quite often clear an even quite strong attack with no further measures being necessary. Particularly at this stage, there is NO ONE RIGHT ANSWER. This is very much a matter of pragmatically seeking what is going to be the most effective strategy for this specific attack situation, this particular night.

So, what are the workable options here? Do I dash to the phone and call some support service? Do I take a sleeping tablet? Do I simply lie here in the dark in bed, in a cold sweat and hoping it will all blow over (and thus I'd pretty likely have a very rough, stressful and possibly hellish night, with little or no sleep and a considerable further weakening of my energy system)? Or, do I commence the 'supportive surroundings' strategy?

Actually the latter option has a lot going for it, even though it's a gamble as to how much really full sleep you'd get. Indeed, if the attack is particularly strong, a practical option may be to combine that strategy with a sleeping tablet - or, if you feel to be under very strong pressure or threat, to call a support service for a brief chat and then get to bed with the 'supportive surroundings' regime. Indeed, actually to tell the support person that you're taking such a measure would itself be reinforcing and grounding for you, and almost certainly the support person would commend your presence of mind in taking such a practical measure - and that would be further reinforcement for your morale.

I myself do not have a clear 'priorities' rule about these options, and have simply 'played it by ear' each affected night, BUT I have done so on the basis of my energy testing indications. The only option that I do not accept is to just lie there suffering. Sometimes my energy testing would indicate for me to go to bed normally and see if the attack will dissolve without further 'input' from me, for sometimes that has happened. But if the attack was not abating after a pretty short time, then my energy testing would indicate 'strengthening' for me to get using particular of the various measures that I have already indicated.


Attacks with physical pain

Basically the methods to address dark force attacks with phantom physical pains are just the same as I've given for attacks in general. The only thing is that in my experience these, even more than attacks with trauma emotions, can sometimes make it impossible for a sleeping tablet to work sufficiently, so that you remain awake and in pain. I'm thinking here of the troublesome phantom anus pain that the dark force has periodically inflicted upon me. Fortunately this usually hasn't come on much during the night, as long as I tuned my Energy Eggs to all current unidentified stresses when I noticed signs of such an attack just starting; the slight pain or weird itching would then usually tail off and leave me in peace again.

On the odd occasions when the pain did sustain itself more or actually build up during the night, I would then either take a Zopiclone tablet (which, as I say, didn't always work well when I had really strong anus pain) or adopt the 'supportive surroundings' regime, and this latter option greatly helped. Even when the pain was persisting, it was much more bearable when I wasn't in silent darkness, and a good part of my attention could then be on my supportive and reassuring surroundings and I could be actually enjoying the beauty of the music, albeit without really concentrating on it. I would also put a little local anaesthetic cream such as Lanacane up my anus, because, although the really troublesome pain was a phantom pain and couldn't be directly affected by the local anaesthetic, it was actually based on real local discomforts within my anus - the severe anus clenching caused by the dark force, and the haemorrhoids getting aggravated by that clenching. So, reducing those relatively small discomforts could actually lead to some reduction of the phantom pain that was actually based on them - though for me this seemed to work tolerably only on some occasions.


Attacks with sexual arousal

The difference here is that commonly one may not be able to get one's attention sufficiently out of the arousal, so that it persists or indeed continues to increase - though the 'first call' measure is still to tune your Energy Egg(s) to all current unidentified environmental stresses (and thus including the 'button pushing' involved in the arousal feedback loop). However, the arousal may continue to build and increasingly preoccupy your mind with lust-arousing images. This is another case where clear-minded pragmatism is called for, and taboos and notions of "should" or "shouldn't" are quite out of place. For myself, living on my own, in such situations I would have no sensible choice but to go ahead and have a solo 'lovemaking' session. Usually I could then get to sleep without recourse to any other measures.

However, on particular (nowadays pretty rare) occasions when for some reason I was a bit more vulnerable to attack, having got rid of an arousal by means of a 'sexual release', I would find the arousal presently starting to reappear. In situations like this the dark force would try to get me 'doing it' repeatedly through the night. That is a very exhausting and weakening thing to be happening, and I do my best to avoid anything like that. Depending on my energy testing indications, and indeed also depending on what the time is then, I might 'do it' a second time or I might take more decisive action to stop this nonsense in its tracks, such as by taking a Zopiclone tablet or going into 'supportive surroundings' mode to get my attention more out of the distraction.


The 'overactive mind' effect

Regardless of any other dark force interferences or attacks of which one may be aware, one very common type of interference, which may be sourced directly or indirectly from the dark force, is the 'overactive mind' effect that can keep you awake in bed, sometimes even for the whole night, even if nothing else untoward seems to be happening. It is actually not just the 'mind' being overactive, but a type of non-sexual physical arousal, so that even if, like me usually these days, you have a pretty empty mind while lying in bed, it still feels as though your mind is overactive. You may also find yourself getting hotter than usual in bed and needing to push back the bedclothes / duvet a bit.

This state is actually one that to a considerable extent inhibits the sleep processes that could occur if you were lying peacefully with your eyes closed, and so a seemingly sleepless night in this sort of state can leave you feeling quite 'shagged out' throughout the ensuing day, almost as though you'd been literally shagging yourself out! So, although this in itself would subjectively seem much less troublesome than being attacked with nasty feelings or physical pain, it is very much worthwhile recognising it as an attack and thus as highly undesirable, and responding accordingly, using the measures that I've already outlined - starting with tuning your Energy Egg(s) to the current unidentified environmental stresses affecting you, and, if necessary, repeating this once in a while. If it still hasn't abated after, say, a couple of hours, the 'supportive surroundings' approach may well be the measure of choice, or maybe for some reason your energy testing might indicate a Zopiclone tablet instead - though I would generally be less inclined to use a medication approach for this less serious sort of attack.


More on the 'supportive surroundings' regime

I used this regime only once (on a particularly desperate night) during all my really major ordeals from the dark force in the period from late 2003 to early 2007, because I didn't fully understand then how extremely valuable it could be, and at that stage, because I was channelling (and so, not energy testing) and was thus not getting the accurate sort of information that I really needed, I hadn't got anything like such a full understanding then of the nature of sleep, and what our true sleep needs are. If I had used this 'supportive surroundings' regime more during those most difficult times, I could have gone quite a long way towards mitigating and even completely stalling those very troublesome nights of heavy ordeals. Much more recently I started using it when the dark force got regularly attacking me with troublesome phantom pain in the anus, and sometimes sought to use this to deprive me of sleep, and I also used it for a few nights when I had a back injury that for about a week gave me difficulties over sleeping position and was thus keeping me awake.

I have a sliding door connecting my bedroom and living room, and normally I'd have that door fully closed at night, so that I don't hear various sounds such as my fridge, which are more audible in the living room, into which my kitchen opens. When I'm using this 'supportive surroundings' regime, I have that sliding door half open, and turn on the particular light in my living room that doesn't shine directly through the sliding door into my bedroom, so it's only indirect light that comes into the bedroom. Yet I find it very reassuring at such times to feel that I'm in touch with bright illumination, which I could get into at any time if I wanted to do so - so this is NOT the same as having a very low-level light on in my bedroom instead.

I also turn on my hi-fi, set to play BBC Radio 3 (mostly classical music, and with no commercials) at a setting near the bottom of the volume dial, so that it's only just audible. I then check in the bedroom to see if it needs adjusting. If, in the bedroom, I can reasonably easily hear the quiet bits in the music, it's probably a bit too loud, and so I slightly edge the volume down. Similarly, if, in my bedroom, I can reasonably easily recognise what the announcer between the pieces of music is saying, then the volume probably needs turning down just a fraction. It really is that quiet. Otherwise, the music is likely to grab my attention more strongly while I'm in bed and be a significant distraction from sleeping. And of course, one great advantage of having the music so quiet is that it's as near as dammit certain not to disturb any immediate neighbours, never mind what the time of night.

Your optimum choice of volume level for the music may differ from mine - but I would caution that if you have the music significantly louder, although you may be having it as you subjectively want or 'like' it, you would not necessarily be really helping yourself. The point about this is that this is NOT in itself a music listening exercise, even though at times you may be sort-of listening to the music (actually drifting in and out of it if your balance of attention is well judged). The aim here is to be maximally in touch with your whole surrounding reassuring 'reality', which is not just the music, which latter is being used just as a little 'handle' to assist you in being in touch with that safe and reassuring reality.

In any case, the use of headphones / earphones would be a complete no-no, because that actually helps separate you from your surroundings, and fills your head with the music to the exclusion of the sounds of your surroundings. That is decidedly UNgrounding, and thus just what you need NOT to be doing here (nor indeed at all!). Also, for the same reason, it's better to have the music sound source not close to you, and even in another, connected, room just as I had it when needing to manage particular potentially troublesome nights in this way. If you're in doubt about any of this, or are sure that you want to do things differently from me, I recommend the use of energy testing to find out what choices are really in your best interests.

The aim here is NOT to give up on sleep, so it is not equivalent to the classic insomniac's misguided response to sleeplessness in getting up and actually doing things. Instead, as already noted, the aim is to have some reasonably unobtrusive continuing contact with a reassuring 'reality' to help balance and reground your awareness while you lie there in bed, but with minimum intrusion from your surroundings to put you off going to sleep. For this to work well, the right state of mind is important. The aim here is NOT to try to go to sleep, NOR to give up on sleep, but, in a very open-minded way, simply to give sleep the best possible chance of happening in its own time, and in the meantime to rest and to peacefully enjoy the night. You use this particular regime on occasions when, if you were just lying in the dark and in (relative) silence, your attention would be too much in the particular dark force interference / attack for you to get to sleep at all, and it would be stupidly stressful to remain lying there like that.

The first time or two that you use this regime, the novelty of having some light together with very quiet music may in itself rather keep you awake - BUT after you've got more used to it, you'd most likely find, as I've done, that it becomes increasingly easy to drift off to sleep in this particular setup, albeit very likely sleeping rather fitfully.

It very much helps, to intend and understand that even if you get no obvious sleep at all, you are going to enjoy just lying there in bed and resting, without trying to achieve anything. You may still need to punctuate your rest by taking occasional measures to 'zap' some particular dark force attack that comes up, by tuning your Energy Egg(s) to the current unidentified environmental stresses, or/and doing a Grounding Post procedure to 'zap' an illusory reality, but the emphasis is on just lying there and being at peace, enjoying the very low-volume music coming from the radio (or whatever). If you get intruded 'visuals' and cannot get rid of them by the means that I've already described, you can at least open your eyes, and with the extra bit of light you'd almost certainly be able to be clear of that disturbance just by having your eyes open for a very short while, also focusing a bit more then on the music - again, with an emphasis on enjoying the moment rather than being pissed off or intimidated by it.

If getting-up time comes and it seems that you didn't get any sleep at all, actually (a) you probably did unawarely get the odd little bits of what we could call 'obvious' sleep, and (b) during all the time that you were lying peacefully, especially with your eyes closed, you were enabling some of the normal sleep processes still to occur, even though not to the same extent as if you'd been fully asleep. In other words, your time has been very well spent by simply resting like that, and it was enormously better than it would have been to just lie there in the dark suffering perhaps hellish experiences as the dark force continued its extremely stressful attacks on you, or getting all stressed up because you felt that you couldn't get to sleep and should be doing so.


Understanding what sleep is, and how sleeping tablets can help and harm...

Nobody fully understands what sleep is and what functions it serves for us, though of course there are theories and beliefs aplenty about that - generally not too well founded, even though some are part-way 'there' with regard to what we most need to know for practical purposes.

I myself have used inner inquiry, supported by energy testing, to get a clearer and, from my own personal perspective, more securely based understanding that I have found extremely helpful even though it must necessarily be seen as somewhat speculative. To have some understanding of how you benefit from sleep, and indeed to some extent, of how that beneficial function operates, can be very helpful for you in choosing the most helpful options when the dark force or indeed any other influence is denying you sleep or threatens to do so.

There appear to be broadly two types of sleep: deep sleep - which everyone recognises as important - and shallow, 'dreaming' sleep (also called REM sleep on account of the involuntary Rapid Eye Movements that tend to occur in that type of sleep). Typically a night's sleep consists of an alternation (I mean broadly so, not a strict, regular alternation) of the two types of sleep, often with more or less brief wakeful spells between them - though some of what are subjectively felt to be wakeful spells may in functional terms actually be particularly shallow 'REM' sleep still, provided that the person remains lying peacefully with eyes closed, and doesn't go trying to do things.

The deep sleep is the main rejuvenator of the body, restoring it from its physical fatigue from the previous day - though some of that process would occur anyway if the person simply spends time lying down in a relaxed manner with eyes closed. So, time spent just lying peacefully but without obvious sleep is NOT time wasted, and indeed the stress that is created by feeling that "I need to get to sleep - I must try to fall asleep!" is a real obstruction to that state of rest being really effective, and pretty well always leads to the person feeling really groggy the following day.

The 'dreaming' or 'REM' sleep, on the other hand, is the primary rejuvenator for our emotional and 'mental' aspects, and the primary process involved is an unconscious or 'subconscious' massive sifting through one's memory databanks (masses more than the experiences that we remember in everyday life) and relating every detail of recent experiences to memories of earlier experiences, making connections where they are deemed significant, and discarding what appear to be bits of irrelevant or 'not mine' data (including spurious memories, images and messages that are constantly being covertly fed into one's mindspace by the dark force). This process actually has two particularly important aspects - evaluation, which really is the overall process, and re-evaluation, which is really a subset of it. These are both basically fully unconscious processes, not directly related to any conscious thinking-through of an issue that you may be doing. Indeed, a wilful conscious thinking-through of issues tends to be a hindrance to the real evaluation process, so it's much better to trust one's deeper aspects to get on with the real work and 'thinking through', and enjoy the conscious 'holiday' of a good night's sleep.

The evaluation process is the basic underlying process of learning. This underlies every scrap of genuine learning that we ever do, whether deliberately or completely unawarely. As far as I can ascertain at the moment, this basic evaluation process goes on apace whenever you are peacefully lying down as though asleep (whether or not actually asleep), so, even more than is the case with physical renewal, you get enormous benefit from lying peacefully, whether or not you are obviously asleep.

On the other hand, re-evaluation is the re-processing of data that could not be evaluated before, at least fully, because of an obstruction. It is thus a process of belated learning of what one had previously been unable to learn because of the particular obstruction(s). The most notable of such obstructions is emotional stress or trauma*, and one big catch is that such stress or trauma need not be one's own in order to have this effect - it could indeed belong to any parasitic lost souls that are attached to one. That means that a considerable proportion of people generally are carrying very much more stress / trauma than they themselves have accrued from situations in their own lives - and all this needs to be cleared if they are to clear out their vulnerability to the dark force and come to live genuine free, happy, self actualized lives.

* The relevant stress-laden memories and other data are stored in a special 'holding area', separately from the 'pure' memory databanks, and so are 'queued' - albeit not in a specific sequence - for re-evaluation attempts when opportunities arise. Basically, those opportunities are when everyday events remind one (normally unconsciously) of particular material held there. In Re-evaluation Counselling such reminders and their effects are called restimulation (of old stresses / hurts / traumas), and that is a good term, but I tend to call it 'emotional button-pushing', because that's likely to be understood by more people.

Re-evaluation, thus, is a healing process, and occurs when by some means the emotional stress or trauma associated with particular memory data is reduced or altogether dissolved (when latter a full re-evaluation can occur, so resolving or clearing that particular issue altogether). Re-evaluation is much more restricted to REM sleep than is straightforward basic evaluation. No REM sleep = little or no re-evaluation, and no re-evaluation = no healing or recovering from emotional issues and the rigid patterns of feeling, outlook and behaviour that they cause. So, deprivation of REM sleep prevents healing of emotional and stress related issues (which EVERYBODY has, whether or not they are aware of them), and that means that during a period of deprivation of REM sleep the person would almost certainly be suffering a net accumulation of emotional stress or an acceleration of an already established ongoing accumulation of that. That in turn means a quite rapid increase in vulnerability to dark force interference and attacks, quite apart from problems resulting directly from accumulation of emotional stress in your system (i.e. a general deterioration in your state of mental and emotional health, which would also progressively impact upon your physical health).

The practical thing we need to understand from this is that both types of sleep are essential for our ongoing well-being.

Now, what happens when you take a 'sleeping' tablet? You took a Zopiclone tablet, sensibly spurning benzodiazepines and indeed barbiturates as too harmful, and, for your troubles, if you were lucky, the prospective night of hellish attack from the dark force seemingly magically gave way to a full night's deep sleep, and so in the morning you breathe a great sigh of relief, that in the event you had a full night's really good sleep despite all the initial threats, and are in better shape now.

But is that all there is to it? To what extent are you really in better shape then? Where were your dreams, for example? Not that consciously experienced dreams are important or necessary in themselves, but their absence does point to something that could be amiss. You had a full night's deep sleep, but did you get any REM sleep? - The answer is that almost certainly you got NONE. Or if you got any at all it would have been only just the odd little fragment. And that is the sad and sorry situation with regard to all sleeping medication of which I'm aware - except that some (particularly barbiturates) put you more into a coma sort of unconsciousness rather than true sleep, so they are still worse. Your Zopiclone ensures that you still miss out on the essential REM sleep, and so continual use of it is actually steadily building up a further level of 'mental health' issue for you, because you have little or no re-evaluation occurring, and so, quite apart from any major stresses, all the normal little stresses of everyday life - most of which you wouldn't be consciously aware of at all - are accumulating in your system and not being cleared by the nightly re-evaluation process in your REM sleep, because you are getting little or no REM sleep!

Now, just one night on your Zopiclone doesn't represent too great a problem. But suppose you look like having a rough time from the dark force again on the following night. Now, if your doctor was any good, (s)he would have warned you to try to avoid having a sleeping tablet (whatever type) on more than two consecutive nights - which of course really implies that it's best to avoid having them on even two consecutive nights! The reason generally given is that any regularity of use tends to (a) cause dependency, and (b) cause tolerance to the drug to progressively develop (in other words, the particular medication becomes decreasingly effective). I can now tell you why that appears to be the case - and I have no indications yet that this is known at all in the medical profession.

The cause of the apparent dependency and tolerance is one and the same - the user's steadily increasing deficit of REM sleep and thus accumulation in one's 'holding area' of stress-laden memory data that is awaiting re-evaluation. The 'holding area' becomes increasingly 'bursting at the seams'.

The apparent dependency arises because, after even one night of what I shall call 'Zopiclone sleep' (i.e. only deep sleep), the following night your system is straightaway seeking to catch up on the missed REM sleep, and so, provided you don't 'zap' yourself with Zopiclone again, and the dark force or whatever leaves you alone and you have a theoretically undisturbed night, you would have a significantly higher proportion of REM sleep that night, and you might indeed notice that you seemed to sleep unsatisfyingly lightly and fitfully, very likely with more dreaming than usual. It would seem unsatisfying - that is, if you didn't understand what was really going on and that you were actually sleeping in just the manner that you most needed to at that time.

However, whether or not you noticed that difference after just one Zopiclone night, this effect becomes progressively stronger for every additional consecutive night that you've been on Zopiclone and have missed out on REM sleep. Thus, when you do have a night without a sleeping tablet after a few consecutive Zopiclone nights, your system will simply not allow you to have deep sleep, because it perceives quite an urgency to catch up on the re-evaluation process by means of grabbing all the REM sleep that can be fitted into your night.

The key, then, to best coping with a situation in which you've Zopicloned yourself several nights in succession, is to understand that what is happening in your ensuing seemingly disturbed and somewhat sleepless nights is actually what you need then, so a further need is for you to be relaxed about that and indeed glad that you're catching up with your re-evaluation process and so healing yourself and learning what you need to learn from the last several days' experiences. However, if you consequently have had a succession of nights with more or less no deep sleep and thus are feeling quite a wreck physically, what you can sensibly do as a pragmatic measure is to balance things up a bit by taking Zopiclone again for just one night, so that then you can get a night of deep sleep - but then you'd need to let the REM sleep catch up on subsequent nights. - But there's no need to worry about this, because your system would bring in an increasing proportion of deep sleep on successive nights, as it catches up on the REM sleep and comes towards a really decent satisfying balanced sleep.

As for the apparent tolerance that develops towards Zopiclone or other sleeping tablet, the primary culprit is again simply the REM sleep deprivation, and your system getting increasingly desperate to restore your balance and mental health by suppressing deep sleep and giving REM sleep a chance. But the trouble is that these sleeping tablets tend to actually suppress REM sleep, so that, very likely, what would happen is that, rather than getting a lot of light, 'dreaming' sleep instead of deep sleep, you'd increasingly get no sleep. This effect is really not true tolerance to the medication, but rather, a self limiting effect brought about by the body's interaction with the drug. Unfortunately, once you're in that situation you'd very likely have some difficulty with coming off the Zopiclone because your unmedicated nights would initially lack deep sleep while your system works hard to restore your balance and mental state. However, that is actually a situation that will pass pretty soon if you accept it with good grace and allow yourself to enjoy your nightly rest instead of worrying that something has gone wrong and you've lost your ability to sleep 'properly'.

I hope you now understand just why the use of Zopiclone or other sleeping tablet can very easily lead you into very considerable problems if you do not keep its use to a real bare minimum and seek whenever possible to keep unmedicated altogether, and, when you do choose to use such medication, not to use it on consecutive nights if at all possible, and, if you do feel that you have to use it on consecutive nights, to keep it to no more than two consecutive nights.

I myself did have one occasion when the dark force attacks caused me very reluctantly to take Zopiclone on a third consecutive night. My energy testing did actually support my doing that, 'on balance', but at least part of the equation then was the fact that I understood what I was doing and what the effect would be on my subsequent unmedicated nights. And sure enough, I had a couple of nights then with initially pretty well no deep sleep and a lot of apparent wakefulness and drifting into vivid dreams, these often being rather disturbing ones because of dark force interference, so I was repeatedly needing to tune my Energy Eggs to the various attacks that started up following the emotional 'button-pushing' of the disturbing elements in those dreams. But at least I understood what was happening, and so I just looked forward to very shortly having my sleep back in balance, as indeed happened reasonably over the next few nights.

Also, experience has shown me that really severe and sustained attacks from the dark force - particularly if they cause a lot of trembling or are causing very significant physical pain - can prevent one from going to sleep even when one has taken one's sleeping tablet. I have NEVER taken an additional sleeping tablet, and I would seriously warn anyone against doing such a thing. Not only is that harmful in itself, but the state of mind that is willing to do such a thing is liable on another occasion to take three - or maybe four... -- You see where that can so easily lead?! You're onto a very slippery slope the moment you choose to take more than the prescribed or medically directed dose (not that all medically directed doses of such drugs are exactly benign or soundly based anyway!).


Conclusion

The dark force is unremitting in its attempts to get a hold on every single person - whether overtly or covertly, for its own mindless and pernicious purposes. Potentially, those people who are getting the overt, direct troublemaking and indeed often obvious wrecking tactics from the dark force are the lucky ones, because it is primarily they who would tend to recognise that something is wrong and that there is a need for them to do something about it. It is these people who potentially could get themselves relatively and indeed even fully clear of dark force interferences and influence, because they'd have the motivation. Other people just assume they have no such problem, and do not recognise their own subtle captivities that would take them into the most horrendous problems beyond this lifetime, and they would thus seal their fate through their own unawareness or denial of their actually extremely serious situations.

I have shown here how it is possible to (at least progressively) recover your birthright of your own deeply sourced personal power, against which the dark force is no match - and a happy, abundant life free from dark force interference and attacks - indeed even with a good and balanced night's sleep, not just once but pretty well every night! I hope that you yourself will be encouraged to 'take the bull by the horns' and get clearing your own dark force interferences - no matter whether they be gross and obvious or subtle and more or less covert. You have NOTHING of consequence to lose by doing so, and SO much to gain!
