HEALING - SOME MYTHS EXPOSED
by Philip Goddard

Healing - what many inadvisedly call 'spiritual healing' in its many forms - is a hotbed of myths which have actually been sourced from the dark force to lead people astray in all sorts of pernicious ways, as well as to make healing much less effective and comprehensive than it could be. On this page I demolish a number of these myths and point to the real way forward.

In Reiki, the symbols give you superior healing abilities

Myth.
Reiki, like virtually all spiritual and healing traditions, is a seriously harmful distortion of and sidetrack from all people's underlying spontaneous seeking for self actualization / self realization - enabling one's deepest aspects and core essence to manifest fully in undistorted form through one's Earthly presence.

I'm not saying at all that you don't get 'healing' from Reiki, but I am saying that such healing comes in an unbalanced, distorted form that helps unground you and open your awareness more to the astral sub-reality and the immense problems that it brings with it - a harmful process that is almost universally thought of as 'spiritual opening up' and misinterpreted as the sort of opening up that we really need. The symbols of Reiki, like all healing and 'sacred' symbols (even such revered symbols as the OM and merkaba) were actually channelled to humans by the dark force posing as higher beings or unnamed 'higher' sources, for the purpose of helping divert us away from true self actualization and into the control of the dark force, of which I write more in The True Nature of 'The Dark Force' and its Interference and Attacks. The great advantage of the Reiki symbols is NOT for the people using them, but for the dark force, in its seeking control and domination over those people.

Sounds like a hyped-up crazy belief of mine? -- Then just read about my own severe experiences with the dark force, which latter apparently got quite close to managing to take me over or effectively wreck or destroy me, in The Dark Force ('Astral Entities') - My Own Tough Experiences, and think again - bearing in mind that my involvement in Reiki, including having had all three attunements, and having been laughably certificated as a so-called Reiki Master, was part of what was progressively ungrounding me and leading up to my severe troubles.

If you have had Reiki healings with use of symbols (which may have been used on you without your knowing of it, because most Reiki healers keep them more or less secret), or especially if you have had one or more Reiki attunements (which put the Reiki symbols in your non-physical aspects), then you have distortions in your non-physical aspects ('energy system') which would all the time be interfering with your grounding and thus would be keeping you more susceptible and vulnerable to the dark force.

Those distortions are caused and maintained NOT by the symbols themselves remaining in the energy system, but thought-form equivalents of them having been unawarely placed along with the actual symbols. These in turn would steadily dissolve, except that pretty well always the dark force covertly interferes with the person in ways that cause the person, whether awarely or unawarely, to keep them in place, so that, unless active clearance measures are used, such thought forms are virtually permanent for the rest of the person's life, causing accumulating problems that would normally not in any way be recognised as linked to the much earlier placing of the symbols.

You can progressively but quite speedily rectify all such harmful distortions through use of the self actualization methodologies which I put forward on this site. An excellent starting point is The Guide to Complete Self Actualization, whose set of affirmations, if read regularly (daily for best effectiveness) gives you a really secure and powerful foundation for the clearing of all such negative and distorting influences from every aspect of your entire being, and that page links to others which point you to a range of simple but very powerful methods and measures for self actualization and progressive clearance of all foreign energies, entities and influences of any sort.

I give two particular methods for clearing thought forms and energy implants in Some Potent Self Actualization / Healing Practices.

Only advanced adepts can project Ki energy for thousands of miles (for healing)

Myth.
I was amazed to read in some printed material from a Buddhist monastic organization a supposedly impressive claim that their current 'master' can project Ki 'energy' for healing people thousands of miles away. And why was I amazed? Not at that man's great feats of healing, I can assure you, but at the idea expressed there that such an ability is tremendously impressive and pretty well unique to the likes of that particular 'master' and other advanced adepts and quite beyond the capacity of 'ordinary' mortals.

I myself project such 'energies' from here to anyone on Earth*. In fact any healer can do that. Any practitioner in the organization in which that 'master' operates could do that if they opened their mind to it. It's what we call distant or remote healing. Why are that 'master' and others like him allowing other people in their religion to remain in such ignorance and lack of their own intrinsic personal power and abundance? (I'm not referring to the 'power' of the supposed 'ego' here but the power and abundance of the self actualized person.)

* Actually, this is just a convenient way of describing what happens, so that the majority of people would have some idea of what one is talking about. In reality, it is not a matter of energy being transmitted from 'here', over a big distance, to 'there', but of subtle changes in aspects of consciousness that are not geographically located in the first place. That is why geographical separation is not an obstacle to the transmission of 'energy' in healing work; the healing 'energy' may, in a sense, be transmitted, but it is NOT transmitted over an actual physical distance at all.

However, other factors do make it generally more difficult to give effective distant healing - in particular, the healer's ability to make the necessary deep-awareness contact remotely with the intended recipient in order that the healing can be transmitted. Healers generally are extensively deceived by their (dark force sourced) 'guidance' or 'received wisdom', into having an exaggerated notion of their ability to achieve that.

In many religions, advanced teachers are built up to be much more than they are, and part of that process is the denial of the stature and abilities of those who are seen to be 'lower' than the teachers. It amazes me that whole religious communities are keeping themselves, and being kept, in ignorance of the abundance and power of their own true nature, just so that they can remain in awe and reverence of those who they see as their teachers and leaders.

It is also significant that that particular Buddhist organization makes and sells a wide range of 'sacred geometry' healing devices, which are ALL extremely harmful because of the disruptive and distorting effects they have in our energy systems. My understanding nowadays is that ALL sacred geometry has come to us from the dark force for the purpose of getting us seriously ungrounded and maximally open and vulnerable to the dark force and its interferences and attacks. You can read about my own experiences with such devices in My Own Self Actualization 'Path' - Part 1.

If you have any such devices, then I counsel that the best thing to do is to summarily destroy them and put the remains in your domestic refuse or wherever they are most likely to be away from prying eyes of people who might get interested in them - except that it would be best to first photograph each device, so that you can later (as soon as possible!) use an Energy Egg (preferably linked to a 'Guardian Angel' or, better, an 'Archangel') and tune it to the particular devices, so that the Energy Egg is then helping you to clear out your accumulated damage from them in your non-physical aspects. More about the Energy Egg, Guardian Angel and truly safe and effective means of self healing and self actualization in Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

At the end of a healing session the healer must 'close down' his and the client's chakras for protection.

Myth.
This is a widely held and quite harmful myth. It doesn't arise in Reiki healing, because it is believed (actually incorrectly) that the Reiki symbols serve some degree of protective function and so Reiki healers do not 'close' chakras, and, as far as I know, the notion of 'closing down' doesn't exist in Eastern traditions. But in other varieties of spiritual healing, including the bog-standard method taught for NFSH accreditation in the U.K., this fallacy is passed on again and again. If you're a healer yourself, you'd do well to stop and think about this one now.

The apparent origin of this myth was in the early spiritualist séance experiments, where the participants naturally 'opened up' at the beginning of a séance and would therefore 'close down' at the end. But at that time they had little understanding of the nature of the chakras that they were supposedly opening up for the sessions. People tended to regard the chakras as though they were closed in normal life and when they were 'open' they were gaping holes through which undesirable energies and influences could enter, so that they had to be closed down again.

I say that that was the apparent origin of the myth because its true origin was from the dark force, which ever so kindly covertly controlled or manipulated the spiritualists into believing that they needed to close the chakras - in order that the dark force and any attached entities could have more hold over those people, as I now explain...

The truth is that chakras would not be holes but, if indeed they could be said to exist at all, they would be very busy energy structures and processing centres, and not at all closed in normal life (though they could be partially 'closed' in a relative sense - that is, weak and under-energized). They are regarded as processing points for the universal life force energy. Healing is supposed to energize the chakras and the person's 'energy system' (often misleadingly called the aura) overall, thus bringing about many of the positive effects of healing. When chakras are 'opened', they would be simply energized, so that they are larger and stronger than before. Thus the more energized they are, the more protected they would be from harmful influences.

When anyone 'closes' chakras, even if only partially, what they would be doing is de-energizing them again. What is the point of that? The protection has then actually been reduced again, and some of the healing work has straightaway been undone! Even notions of putting a protective 'lid' over all chakras or specific ones such as the solar plexus one are more rubbish from the dark force, because you cannot protect yourself to any useful extent that way - especially against the dark force.

So, if you are a healer, your wisest course would be to ensure that you and every client finish each healing session simply in as strong and energized state as possible, in a balanced way.

It's no use dowsing or otherwise channelling to see if you need to 'close' your chakras after a session, for almost certainly you would be getting dark force interference, so that any answers that you get would be unreliable. Indeed, the dark force has a strong interest in your keeping your energy system (and thus any chakras) as weak and under-energized as possible, as that facilitates its often covert negative and destructive work upon you - so it will do what it can to convince you that you really do need to 'close' your (supposed) chakras.

Indeed, my best understanding nowadays is that although the chakra system sort-of represents aspects of our non-physical aspects, it is at best only a schematic representation of something that actually cannot really be described or seen at all. It is the dark force that gets healers and psychics 'seeing', believing in and dwelling upon the 'auric' energy system and its chakras, for the purpose of keeping people diverted from tuning into their own core essence for healing and genuine self actualization, which is the real way to gain 'protection' - not through the notion of protection at all, but rather, of manifesting one's natural immunity to entities, the dark force and all problematical energies.

To give a healing you need to draw in the Light.

Myth.
This notion has been disseminated among healers by the dark force with the aim of making the healers and recipients of the healings more open and vulnerable to the dark force. Indeed, the notion is only a particular case of the general deception, promoted within people's minds through interference from the dark force, that you need to look outside yourself for the highest and purest source(s) of healing energy, wisdom or protection. The true 'highest' and purest source that we can access is not outside ourselves at all, but within.

And what is that 'highest' healing source? ...Actually, not any 'higher beings', and indeed nothing higher than yourself!! It is simply your own core essence, which is a 'micro-aspect' of the all-pervading fundamental consciousness that is 'the Ultimate' as far as anyone can tell. So, the whole tradition of 'drawing in the Light' or in any way invoking supposedly external energies or beings has been given to us and encouraged by the dark force, because by doing so we disempower ourselves and facilitate the hold of the dark force upon us, whereas if instead we worked from and with ONLY our core essence, we would have not only the 'highest' and purest healing source but also would be making it progressively more difficult for the dark force to have any hold upon us. Please see Healing From Our Core Essence.

After a hands-on (or hands-off) healing session the recipient needs to drink a lot of water to clear out the released toxins

Myth.
Many people told me that fiction, when I got into healing from 1998 and onwards, and it is also there in many books on healing - but it never made sense to me, and I always quietly disobeyed such instructions, which I was given by a fair proportion of those people who'd given me healing. My understanding nowadays is that this thing of supposedly needing to drink all that extra water is yet another dark force sourced fiction, though drinking the extra water isn't in itself greatly harmful as long as you don't make any sort of regular practice of it. Apparently the primary reason for our being given that fiction is to convince people that their healing sessions are doing a lot more good for them than they really are.

So-called spiritual healing, in its multitude of versions, including Reiki and Vortex healing, is distinctly more limited in its effectiveness than is generally believed by its practitioners. The dark force thus seeks to encourage people to quite inappropriately try to use these methods as a major, or even the only, method in any supposed self actualization process of theirs - in order to keep people steered away from truly effective self actualization and self healing methods that are safe and free from dark force involvement. That's what all this is really about.

Sure, some people get adverse effects from healing sessions that they receive from another person - but those are NOT caused by toxins released by the healing process but result from various sorts of attack from the dark force interfering with them. For one thing, such healing sessions are usually very ungrounding - this aggravated by the common and absolutely barmy notion that the recipient of the healing should keep his eyes closed and even go out-of-body during the session. As a person gets his awareness more ungrounded, so they open more readily and spontaneously to the astral sub-reality and thus become sitting ducks for interference from the dark force. Another ungrounding element in the majority of hands-on healing sessions is the use of 'New Age'-type music in the background, to assist the person in getting nicely spaced out - i.e. having their awareness further ungrounded!

Finally, I'd like to gently point out, as already intimated, that drinking anything like the extra amount of water that very many healers recommend is itself harmful - albeit only mildly so. Indeed, the majority of people, at least in temperate or cold climates, have a strong tendency to drink far more water than is really good for them in everyday life, particularly because of their addiction or at least strong attachment to caffeine and to alcohol. My own daily water intake significantly reduced when in 1974 I cut out all mind affecting drugs, including caffeine and alcohol, and so then drank only out of necessity and not for the purpose of getting any sort of 'kick' or 'fix'.

If you (have the good sense to) use energy testing, you can establish for yourself how much water is actually optimal for you yourself to drink at any particular time. Most people, upon energy-testing on their everyday water intake would get quite a surprise to find how far astray they've been led by social convention and indeed 'received wisdom' from healers and the medical profession.

It's helpful or even necessary for the recipient of some healings to go out of body during the session.

Not only Myth but DANGER!
Any healer who believes the above dark force sourced fiction is a menace, and is (presumably unawarely) being a dark force helper of a particularly sinister kind. Such healing sessions are one of the major means to get a person to go out of body sufficiently for the dark force to stage a partial walk-in upon them or land them with other really serious problems. For safety, ALL recipients of healing sessions need to keep themselves as GROUNDED AND IN-BODY as possible - and it is the responsibility of the healer to stress the importance of this to the recipient!

Sounds just too scary? -- Well, yes, that gives all the more weight to the importance of de-emphasizing so-called spiritual healing and getting on with true self actualization using methods that are grounding, self empowering and free from dark force connections. Then you'd have no need to involve yourself with so-called spiritual healing except in specific limited instances. For more about the safe and healthy way to proceed, see Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way.

If a person has the gift of healing ability but doesn't use it, it will eventually be taken away from her.

Myth.
This common belief is based on the fallacy that healing ability is a precious gift that is given to some people and not others for a specific purpose in the current lifetime. In fact everyone has some degree of healing ability or connection, whether they use it or not, and those who are commonly identified as 'old souls' (who are actually no-soul incarnations or have soul-reincarnated no more than a few times, according to my current understanding) have this most strongly - some more than others. The strength of healing ability or connection depends on qualities of inner openness and depth of awareness which appear to be intrinsic to particular individuals. It is thus not a gift that has been given to us and which could be taken away. It is intrinsic to our true nature as manifestations of the all-pervading fundamental consciousness.

Also, my mind boggles at what sort of 'Higher Will' would take healing ability away from a person because of non-use of it. That would simply ensure that the particular person never opened up as a healer. The very notion suggests a belief derived from crude religion in which the highest will (God, if you like) is a mean, moralistic and rather vengeful presence that punishes people when they aren't overtly grateful to it (or 'Him' if you like) for what they have. That is all dark force agenda and best totally discarded.

It is important / essential to have a person's permission before giving healing to that person.

Myth.
It sounds sort of logical, doesn't it! The standard argument goes, that if you give a person healing without having his permission to do so you are violating that person's free choice - and indeed usually the argument goes further and claims that if you do such a thing, even innocently and with the very best of intentions, severe karma will rebound on you and cause you some sort of serious trouble. So, now let's take this notion apart and look at the pieces...

"If you give healing to a person without his permission you are violating (taking away) his free choice."

There is only one type of healing situation in which this could be true, and that is where the healer is being strongly dark force / 'ego' led and is using conscious willpower to direct 'energies' to the recipient in an attempt to bring about a specific outcome, even at a specific time. That is NOT beneficial nor responsible healing work, regardless of whether permission is sought or obtained. Giving healing in that mode harms the healer through weakening and distorting his own energy system (health problems ALWAYS result), and, regardless of whether the recipient has given permission, the intended healing is done without real knowledge or awareness of what work really needs doing.

For example, the healer may try to remove a person's cancer - but that would be an extremely unbalanced sort of healing which could well cause further problems for the recipient - for the healer's ordinary mind has no way of knowing what are the underlying causes of the cancer and thus what is really the most important work that needs to be done. The cancer was serving as a warning signal regarding something more fundamental, and the healer may simply have removed or hidden the warning signal - not a healthy situation at all!

Many such healers believe that they get round the latter problem by asking their 'guides', the recipient's supposed 'higher consciousness' or some supposedly higher source whether it is appropriate, or whether they have permission, to give the healing. What such a healer is doing then is asking that question to the dark force posing as the supposedly positive and helpful presences - see Better Without Channelling. What that means is that any answer that is received is worthless, and indeed worse than worthless, because it is given with the specific aim of misleading and causing problems (whether or not the healer or recipient are ever directly aware of the problems). So, clearly, asking any such questions is NOT a way to find out whether a particular healing would be appropriate for the particular person at the particular time.

On the other hand, ALL responsible and properly aware healers work in a completely different way. Although nearly all of them are seriously mistaken in invoking and 'drawing in' supposedly external energies and beings, at least they generally get one thing right - that the only effective way to give healing is to allow the healing 'energies' to work through the healer, without the conscious mind seeking to manipulate the 'energies' and try to achieve a specific outcome. The healer's mind remains completely open as to outcome(s) of the healing. So, for example, the healer's intent isn't "I'm now trying to cure Johnny's cancer", but something like "This is for Johnny's cancer situation, and to assist him towards the most beneficial outcome, whatever that may be".

In this latter mode, it is always assumed and intended that what is not for the recipient's best interests at the present time simply will not happen. When healing is given in this healthy, 'open' manner, if for some particular reason it really was important that the particular prospective recipient's permission be obtained first and it hadn't been obtained, nothing would happen! Simple as that!

"If you give healing to a person without his permission, or which interferes with his free will in any way, you will generate very serious karma for yourself."

How can you possibly have created significant karma of any kind when you have had a respectful, loving intent and have given or sent healing on the understanding that what is not helpful at the present time simply won't happen?

This myth about serious karma surrounding healing work has been given to healers by - you've surely guessed by now! - the dark force, which is UNIVERSALLY the source of all the notions of and beliefs in severe, retributional karma - a tremendous distortion of what karma really is - see Karma - Cutting Through the Confusion. I myself have had direct experience of the dark force's deceptions and lies about severe punitive karmas, for I was given various threatening and indeed nightmarish karma scenarios by the dark force posing as higher beings during my severe troubles from the dark force - see The Dark Force ('Astral Entities') - My Own Tough Experiences.

It is also - would you believe it! - the dark force, the very embodiment of power / control agenda, that is the source of that so-widespread belief that if you give a healing without first obtaining the prospective recipient's permission, you are violating that person's free choice. -- How come that suddenly 'the dark side' has become a champion of protecting free will?

If you know anything important about the dark force at all, you will know that it is completely agenda driven, and its agenda is to gain control and domination over humans - all humans - and that it is 1,000,000,...% unscrupulous as to how it strives towards that end. Honesty has no meaning to it, except as something to exploit. Thus its own displays of hypocrisy make ordinary human hypocrisy look purer than the driven snow. Its predictions and promises make politicians' promises look almost honest!

What I'm saying here is that in this particular type of situation the dark force is controlling people into supposedly being champions of free choice in order to prevent them from giving healings that would help clear people of their dark force interferences and make those people free - i.e. to restore more of their free choice, not to restrict it in any way. THAT is what it is really all about. If a person actually wants not to receive a healing done in the responsible, 'open' way that I've described above, that is NOT the person's free choice speaking at all! That is the voice of the addiction and the dark force control speaking through the person. That person is a captive. How can you, as a decent, loving, caring sort of person, say, "Oh, this person's captors are telling me to go away, and therefore I won't help her!"?

Now, it's one thing to try and force a person to do something, but when you send a healing that is carried out in the responsible, healthy way, you are not in any way forcing that person to do anything at all. All you are doing is enabling deeper levels of consciousness to start, to some extent, weakening that person's prison bars, so to speak. You are actually doing a little bit towards increasing that person's free will!!!! So, if you're one of the huge number of healers who have held this crazy belief in the need for permission to give a healing even when it's done in a responsible and healthy manner, you now have a little food for thought!

Let's take another example. Somebody's just taken an overdose* and tells you "Go away, I don't want help; I want to die now!". Do you meekly go away and 'mind your own business' because it would be violating that person's free will to call for help for the person? That person is not in control of herself anyway at that point, and so although your calling for appropriate help would appear superficially to be violating her free will, actually it would be simply giving her a chance to recover her true free will and get clear of whatever has driven her to take the overdose and (on the surface only) want to die. In most if not all cases interference by the dark force would have been the cause of such behaviour, so how can it be said to be such a person's free choice to take an overdose and die?

* I'm not referring here to somebody who is in a genuine terminal condition, where the person's genuine need would generally be to get on with dying and not hanging around to suffer 'to the bitter end' when the body can no longer support consciousness.

You see a road traffic accident, and people are lying about, at least unconscious, in a poorly state. Do you go away and mind your own business because those people aren't in a state to give you permission to help or get help? Do you think to yourself "Their higher selves [or the Highest Will] have evidently chosen for this to happen so it would be bad karma for me to interfere"?

That may look like some sort of religious fundamentalism (and indeed it comes from exactly the same source - the dark force), but actually that is exactly the logic of all these healers who hold off from giving liberating healings on the grounds that they haven't (or wouldn't get) permission from the prospective recipient (or indeed from some supposed higher source, which, as I've already indicated, is ALWAYS really the dark force posing as higher sources). So, ALL of us healers who use that sort of logic in order not to give or send healing to anyone, are playing the dark force agenda and NOT operating as true healers in any fundamental way.

The bottom line is, if anyone comes to me asking if I have permission to send a healing to whoever I'm sending it to, I shall be sorely tempted to ask, "Do you ask your bottom for permission to wipe it? Doesn't it have a right to be dirty and stinky?" wink -- In other words, there are some things that simply just make the deepest sense.

"A person's free will is sacrosanct and mustn't be taken away in any way."

I would gently point out that if you seriously don't want to impinge upon anyone else's free will, there is only one solution - not to exist! -- But even then, if you chose not to exist, you would still be restricting people's free choice because they wouldn't then have the freedom to interact with you! wink

In fact the whole notion that we must avoid restricting another person's free will in any way is palpable nonsense. We are interacting with each other all the time in all sorts of ways that inevitably limit each other's free will (i.e. by limiting their range of options at any moment). All we can usefully aim for is the maximum practicable free choice of all involved - very much a dynamic process of balanced give-and-take. The problems come when, through unawareness and dark force interference, we consciously impose free will constraints on others, which are reducing rather than maximizing the free will of all involved. In all such behaviour there is an imbalance between the giving and taking of free will.

That implies that there are many situations where it is actually a positive thing to bring about the restriction of specific aspects of a person's or indeed everyone's free will, in order to maximize the overall amount of free will. It would thus be fine for restrictions to be laid down upon how many children (if any) one is allowed to have, because our massive overpopulation of the world is causing tremendous loss of individual free will - including pretty imminently the free will to live on this planet at all. Similarly, it would be highly beneficial for many black magic practitioners (among many others) to be put somewhere safe where they can no longer go adversely affecting other people and imposing their will upon them (often by hidden means) - until such time as those practitioners have sorted themselves out and are no longer seeking to impose their will upon others in ways that do not respect the principle of maximizing the overall level of free choice.

"A person shouldn't be helped with any of their issues without their permission because his higher self [or soul]  has chosen those issues for them to experience for their own learning."

That is total rubbish, sourced again from the dark force. I have already explained how the vast majority of people are being controlled by the dark force into being resistant against their being freed from dark force interference and control. So it naturally follows that such people will use a distorted version of the notion of free will in order to discourage anyone from freeing them. "I've every right to be a prisoner if I want to be!", sort of thing.

Also, this notion of choices having been made at some higher level for certain experiences to be taken on in one's life, in order to gain particular learning, is another dark force sourced fabrication to dissuade people from attempting to assist others in clearing their dark force interferences and control. Indeed I myself took on board and sort-of believed for a while such fiction about my own emotional and dark force interference issues. It was all a ploy to make it as difficult as possible for me to get clear of my dark force interferences and become optimally self actualized.

As manifestations of fundamental consciousness, we have NO life purpose of learning or gaining wisdom in the way that is so widely believed, because within ourselves we already have all the knowledge, awareness and capacity for understanding that we'd ever need - it's just a matter of uncovering it. My understanding nowadays is that our most fundamental life purpose is to experience, not specifically to learn (though, naturally, learning is an important though less fundamental part of the life experience), and to become fully functioning as incarnate manifestations of the all-pervading fundamental consciousness. Thus any obstructions to a person's self actualization (which also means gaining their totally free state, with maximum free will) are actually 'fair game' for ANY healer to assist in dissolving, even if the recipient of such assistance superficially appears resistant to any such thing happening - because it isn't that person's own free will that would be opposing his becoming freer.

Also, the very notion of the 'higher self' or 'higher consciousness' is bogus, given to us from the dark force. For 'higher self', read 'dark force'. Your own deepest or core essence doesn't operate at all like the so-called higher self and is not a separated-off part of yourself 'up there' but is simply the deepest level of your awareness or consciousness.

It appears very likely - at least my 'reading' indicates this to have been the case - that when I was going through tremendously difficult 'dark' times from the dark force from late 2003 right up to the end of 2006, various people who became aware of my situation (mostly through this website), and could have sought to assist me in various ways (though how effective that would actually have been is a different matter), in fact did not even attempt to assist because they believed, or at least their 'guidance' (actually dark force interference) told them, that it would be wrong to assist me because my 'higher self' had chosen for me to be 'dropped in it' with the 'dark forces', and that it was necessary for my own learning for me to be left to cope unaided.

That misguided outlook was based purely on dark force sourced misinformation and had the same logic as leaving a person who's fallen over a cliff to die because "her higher self had chosen for it to happen for the purpose of her own learning, and it was all part of her learning to try to get herself out of that situation or at least cry out for help".

But hold on a moment - you CAN generate karma for yourself by giving a healing...

Yes, any healing that wasn't fully harmonious with your deeper, non-physical aspects for you to give at the particular time would create some (normally tiny) degree of distortion and weakening in your 'energy system', and that would be a karma in the correct and most helpful use of the term - but that would be no more of a problem than the countless increments of such distortions or weakenings (i.e. karmas) that, unless you are living with intent*, you would be causing for yourself by all manner of unharmonious choices in your everyday life. I refer you again to Karma - Cutting Through the Confusion for a balanced view on karma.

* By 'living with intent' I mean, living in a mode in which one is aware of or tests for the consequences of any choice or environmental factor upon oneself, and, through this means, chooses, as far as physically possible, only what is strengthening to one's energy system and thus is what is for one's deepest and ultimate good. A person who is truly living with intent in this way rapidly increases in health and happiness, and is pointing directly to true self actualization. As to how to live with intent yourself, there is an easy way to start doing so - use of energy testing. Living with intent, along with all other true self actualization practices, progressively dissolves all existing karmas.

You can ensure that you give only healings that are harmonious to your energy system at the current time by using energy testing (mentioned above). That way, ensuring that you give only appropriate healings is a very simple matter.

Karma is a serious matter that needs special kinds of healing.

As just noted above, all you need for dissolving your load of karmas is the process of living with intent and the use of any other true self actualization practices. See Karma - Cutting Through the Confusion for a balanced understanding of karma, and Healing and Self Actualization - The Safest and Quickest Way for some great ways to dissolve it all.

In fact, special healings for karma are ALL of 'the dark side', and are based on distorted, dark force sourced notions of the nature of karma, and typically involve invoking supposed higher beings (e.g. the so-called Lords of Karma), which themselves are just illusions given to the healer by the dark force, thus increasing the dark force connections of both healer and recipient.

Yes, I myself, back in the early 2000s tried giving myself the odd healing of karma, invoking the so-called Lords of Karma - and a fat lot of good it did me. As I now understand it, not only was that not a method that could dissolve any karmas anyway, but, because using such a method was distorting and weakening for my system it was actually creating a new karma and also still further increasing the hold of the dark force upon me. Also, all the major karmas that I assumed that I was carrying, from a very large number of past lives of mine - to whatever extent they really existed - were actually not mine at all but were those of the parasitic 'lost' human souls attached to me, of which I knew nothing until 2007.

Healers and people who receive healing sometimes have a 'healing crisis'

Myth.
Yes, such people do indeed experience various sorts of what get regarded as 'side effects' from their healing process - whether they be physical symptoms or some sort of emotional 'nasty' or indeed crisis - but no, such happenings are not to any material extent caused by any genuine healing process.

The occurrence of such supposed 'healing crises' is simply one of the indicators of dark force involvement in the particular individuals' supposed healing methods. It is the dark force that causes the particular symptoms and crises. In the case of healers, the way they are going about giving healing to others is also often a major factor in any crisis, either physical or emotional, that they may run into. The problem there is typically that they are putting far too much emphasis on healing and 'helping' others instead of concentrating on promoting their own healing process. That weakens and distorts their own non-physical aspects ('energy system'), and that has untoward effects both directly and through making them much more open and vulnerable to dark force interference and attacks.

A genuine healing process can sometimes cause a particular 'buried' issue to manifest (before it too can be healed), when whatever other issue was hiding that one becomes cleared itself - but that's a far cry from the troublesome 'healing crises' that many people experience, and indeed from the troublesome 'side effects' that some people experience following, for example, a Reiki attunement.

So, for 'healing crisis' and 'healing [attunement] side effects', read 'dark force interference / attacks'. For this reason, those issues need to be addressed accordingly, and Dark Force and Entity Troubles - The Real Way to Clear Them points to your real way forward.
